Introduction: Down Syndrome Regression Disorder (DSRD) is a neuropsychiatric condition causing insomnia, catatonia, encephalopathy, and obsessive-compulsive behavior in otherwise healthy individuals with Down syndrome (DS). Smaller cohorts have identified heterogenous diagnostic abnormalities which have predicted immunotherapy responsiveness although pattern analysis in a large cohort has never been performed.

Stable isotopes of carbon (δC) and nitrogen (δN) are commonly employed to reconstruct past change in marine ecosystems and nutrient cycling. However, multiple biogeochemical and physical drivers govern spatiotemporal variability of these isotopic signals, particularly in dynamic coastal systems, complicating interpretation. Trends in diagnostic biopsy sample collection approaches for primary bone sarcomas have shifted in the past 2 decades. Although open/incisional biopsies used to be the predominant approach to obtain diagnostic material for Ewing sarcoma and osteosarcoma, image-guided core needle biopsies have increased in frequency and are safe for patients. As rates of obesity rise worldwide, incidence of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), formerly referred to as nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, is increasing, worsening the burden of healthcare systems. The council of the Federation of International Societies for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition (FISPGHAN) identified the topic of MASLD epidemiology, treatment, and prevention as a global priority issue to be addressed by an expert team, with the goal to describe feasible and evidence-based actions that may contribute to reducing MASLD risk. Enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) protocols have informed perioperative care across multiple surgical specialties, optimizing patient outcomes through surgical stress management and accelerated recovery. This study evaluates the familiarity and adoption of ERAS elements among craniofacial and oral and maxillofacial surgeons in pediatric orthognathic surgery, a field where a formal ERAS protocol has not been established. Background: Traumatic rib fractures are associated with pain lasting weeks to months and a decreased ability to inspire deeply or cough to clear secretions. Ultrasound-guided percutaneous cryoneurolysis involves reversibly ablating peripheral nerve(s) using exceptionally low temperature with a transdermal probe, resulting in a prolonged nerve block with a duration measured in months.
