The dataset comprises 20,926 artificial insemination records involving 6,191 Prim'Holstein and 5,279 Montbéliarde cows. The animals originated from three distinct agro-ecological regions: littoral (L), semi-arid (SA), and arid (Ar), characterized by average annual Temperature-Humidity Index (THI) values of 75.

Forming complexes with cyclodextrins can protect nicotinic acid (vitamin B3) from premature metabolism and enhance the solubility and stability of this drug. In this work, the formation of the inclusion complex of the neutral form of nicotinic acid and β-cyclodextrin was achieved. The complex is modeled using PM3, PM6-D4H3, and PM7, by considering two orientations of the guest: A and B, one is from wide to narrow rim, and the second is from narrow to the wide rim, respectively.

Accuracy of image analysis for linear zoometric measurements in dromedary camels.

The present study was designed to verify the effectiveness of the image analysis method for body measurement in dromedary camel compared to manual measurements as a reference method. To achieve this aim, twenty-one linear body measurements were estimated on 59 adult Sahraoui dromedary camels (22 males and 37 females) with a normal clinical condition by using a measuring stick or vernier caliper (standard method). On the other hand, image analysis on profile, front, or behind photographs was processed using Axiovision Software.

Background: Twenty-five spleens of adult, healthy dromedary of the local breed from the region of El Oued, Algeria, were collected at the slaughterhouse in order to carry out research to determine the macroscopic and microscopic structure of spleen in this species, macroscopic study revealed that the spleen has a rectangular shape with a triangular section, rounded edges, a little bit striated, its surface is smooth in which the aspect of the capsule and the parietal surface is shiny and smooth, the morphometric study was carried out after classifying the sampled spleen in five groups according to the animal's body weight which increases with age.

Materials And Methods: Our study revealed that the groups show a different value of mass which declines towards a drop of the index, also the indexes of length and width are following a decreasing order.

Results: The histological study revealed that the zone occupied by stroma did not exceed 26.

A survey on human cystic echinococcosis was carried out in two public health establishments including the state hospital and one private medical clinic in Djelfa province (Algeria) to report the epidemiological profile of surgical cases and to examine the fertility of collected cysts. Total 18 hydatid cysts from 11 patients of different ages living both in rural and urban areas were obtained. Liver localization was noted in 73% of cases compared to lung localization (27%).
