Inflammatory rheumatic diseases are different pathologic conditions associated with a deregulated immune response, codified along a spectrum of disorders, with autoinflammatory and autoimmune diseases as two-end phenotypes of this continuum. Despite pathogenic differences, inflammatory rheumatic diseases are commonly managed with a limited number of immunosuppressive drugs, sometimes with partial evidence or transferring physicians' knowledge in different patients. In addition, several randomized clinical trials, enrolling these patients, did not meet the primary pre-established outcomes and these findings could be linked to the underlying molecular diversities along the spectrum of inflammatory rheumatic disorders.

Background: Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) and axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) are inflammatory diseases with shared genetic backgrounds and clinical comorbidities. Headache, a common global health issue, affects over 50% of adults and encompasses various types, including migraine, tension-type, and cluster headaches. Migraine, the most prevalent, recurrent, and disabling type, is often associated with other medical conditions such as depression, epilepsy, and psoriasis, but little is known about the relationship between autoimmune disease and the risk of migraine.

In this article, we present an unusual case of granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA) in a 41-year-old man. The initial presentation of the disease was atypical, with persistent fever, cough, and fatigue, accompanied by elevated inflammatory markers in association with a large, solitary lung lesion observed at the chest X-ray. Despite the presence of an initial radiological picture suggesting pneumonia, the lack of response to antibiotics necessitated a more in-depth evaluation.

(1) Background: Cement distribution after radiofrequency ablation of spinal metastases can be unpredictable due to various tumor factors, and vertebral augmentation requires advanced devices to prevent cement leakage and achieve satisfactory filling. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of a platform of steerable technologies with an articulating radiofrequency ablation (RFA) probe and targeted cavity creation before vertebral augmentation in the treatment of painful spinal metastases. (2) Methods: Sixteen patients (mean age, 67 years) underwent RFA in conjunction with vertebral augmentation after the creation of a targeted balloon cavity for metastatic spinal disease and were followed up to 6 months.

The specialized pro-resolving lipid mediators (SPMs) family is one the most important processes counteracting hyperinflammation inducing tissue repair and homeostasis restoration. Among SPMs, Protectin D1 (PD1) is able to exert antiviral features, at least in animal models.

Background: Pulmonary lung involvement is the most common extra-glandular manifestation in patients with primary Sjögren's syndrome (pSS), leading to a worsening of the patient's prognosis. To date, different studies have assessed the prevalence of pulmonary involvement and interstitial lung disease (ILD) in pSS patients with different results.
Methods: We performed a systematic literature review and meta-analysis on ILD pooled prevalence in pSS according to the PRISMA and MOOSE guidelines.

A role for COVID19 in "hyperferritinemic syndromes" has been proposed based on its clinical and serological characteristics and its similarities with AOSD. Radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA) is the mainstream treatment for drug-refractory cardiac fibrillation. Multiple studies demonstrated that incorrect dosage of radiofrequency energy to the myocardium could lead to uncontrolled tissue damage or treatment failure, with the consequent need for unplanned reoperations. Monitoring tissue temperature during thermal therapy and predicting the extent of lesions may improve treatment efficacy.

Objectives: To investigate differences in coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) mortality between patients with rheumatic musculoskeletal diseases (RMD) and the general population in Italy.
Methods: We analysed the data from the national surveillance study promoted by the Italian Society for Rheumatology (CONTROL-19 database) including patients with RMD and COVID-19 between 26 March 2020 and 29 November 2020, compared with official data from the Italian population (within the same period) adjusted for age, sex and geographic location. The main outcome of the analyses was mortality.

Background: to evaluate the contribution of edema associated with histological features to the prediction of breast cancer (BC) prognosis using T2-weighted MRI radiomics.
Methods: 160 patients who underwent staging 3T-MRI from January 2015 to January 2019, with 164 histologically proven invasive BC lesions, were retrospectively reviewed. Patient data (age, menopausal status, family history, hormone therapy), tumor MRI-features (location, margins, enhancement) and histological features (histological type, grading, ER, PgR, HER2, Ki-67 index) were collected.
