Individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs) are more susceptible to developing severe or resistant mood disorders. However, they often face challenges in accessing specific treatments. To understand the barriers to treatment in this group, we conducted a secondary analysis of a multicenter observational study on 305 adolescents referred to specialized care (mean age 14.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is characterized by deficits in attention, hyperactivity, and/or impulsivity. Resting-state functional connectivity analysis has emerged as a promising approach for ADHD classification using resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fMRI), although with limited accuracy. Recent studies have highlighted dynamic changes in functional connectivity patterns among ADHD children.

Biological nitrogen fixation is a fundamental part of ecosystem functioning. Anthropogenic nitrogen deposition and climate change may, however, limit the competitive advantage of nitrogen-fixing plants, leading to reduced relative diversity of nitrogen-fixing plants. Yet, assessments of changes of nitrogen-fixing plant long-term community diversity are rare.

Background: The anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA) renal risk score (ARRS) for predicting renal survival in ANCA-associated vasculitis (AAV) had not previously been validated in adults over 65 years of age and presenting impairments associated with an aging kidney, a high cardiovascular comorbidity burden and prevalent microscopic polyangiitis.
Methods: We retrospectively studied a cohort of 192 patients over 65 years of age [median (interquartile range) age: 73 (68-78) years], including 17.2% with renal-limited vasculitis, 49.

The investigation of the central and external zones of ten industrial and artisanal Maroilles cheeses showed differences in their physicochemical parameters, namely fat, pH, moisture content, ash, and color. This difference significantly impacted the rheological properties of the investigated cheeses, which depended on the protein network englobing lipid and water and its interaction with the other components. Overall, Maroilles cheeses had an elastic-like behavior, with the central zones exhibiting the greatest viscoelastic modules (G' and G″).

Following the global progressive deployment of 5G networks, considerable attention has focused on assessing their potential impact on human health. This study aims to investigate autonomous nervous system changes by exploring skin temperature and electrodermal activity (EDA) among 44 healthy young individuals of both sexes during and after exposure to 3.5 GHz antenna-emitted signals, with an electrical field intensity ranging from 1 to 2 V/m.

Background: In prior randomised controlled trials, lung cancer screening using low-dose computed tomography (LDCT) has been shown to reduce lung cancer mortality and overall mortality. Despite these results, organised screening in France remains a challenge. This study assessed the feasibility and efficacy of lung cancer screening within a real-life context in a French administrative territory.

Background: Mucosal healing (MH) is an established treatment goal in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). However, various definitions of MH exist. We aimed to identify how MH is defined in randomized controlled trials (RCTs) in ulcerative colitis (UC) and Crohn's disease (CD).

The treatment of Mycobacterium avium infections is still long, complex, and often poorly tolerated, besides emergence of resistances. New active molecules that are more effective and better tolerated are deeply needed. Mefloquine and its enantiomers ((+) Erythro-mefloquine ((+)-EMQ) and (-)-Erythro-mefloquine ((-)-EMQ)) have shown efficacy in both in vitro and in vivo, in a mouse model of M.

The fibroblast growth factor-2 (FGF-2) is a critical protein for biological processes such as angiogenesis and tissue regeneration. Recently, hydrogels based on semi-synthetic sulfated polysaccharides have been developed for the controlled delivery of FGF-2. These affinity-based FGF-2 carriers utilizing hydrogels based on sulfated polysaccharides enable sustained delivery of FGF-2, yet choice of materials is limited.

Waterlogging is expected to become a more prominent yield restricting stress for barley as rainfall frequency is increasing in many regions due to climate change. The duration of waterlogging events in the field is highly variable throughout the season, and this variation is also observed in experimental waterlogging studies. Such variety of protocols make intricate physiological responses challenging to assess and quantify.

Background: Women are underrepresented in orthopaedic and trauma surgery worldwide, with proportions of 4%-17% across countries and 9.1% in France. The annual meeting of the French Society for Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery (SOFCOT) provides opportunities for quantifying the representation of women, which has not yet been accurately evaluated.
