Objective: To describe clinical features, treatment strategies and visual acuity changes of eyes with uveitic macular oedema (UMO) in ocular tuberculosis (OTB) patients from a non-TB-endemic country.

Methods: This retrospective study was conducted using a 10-year period registry of OTB patients diagnosed in Erasmus MC, Rotterdam. Longitudinal analysis of visual acuity trajectory in eyes with and without UMO was performed using linear mixed effect model.

Using a simple drop-casting technique, we successfully fabricated a sensitive electrochemical sensor based on the composite of reduced graphene oxide (RGO) and multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) deposited on the surface of a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) for individual and simultaneous measurements of hydroquinone (HQ), dopamine (DA), and uric acid (UA). The nanocomposite of RGO/MWCNT was further characterized in terms of its structural properties, surface morphology, and topography using Raman, FT-IR spectroscopy, SEM, HRTEM, and AFM. Then, the proposed sensor for simultaneous measurement of HQ, DA, and UA based on RGO/MWCNT-modified GCE was investigated for its electrochemical behavior and electroanalytical performances using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV).

Paranasal transposition flap in facial soft tissue reconstruction of facial cleft Tessier type 3 & ADAM complex: A case report.

Introduction: Craniofacial Tessier Cleft type 3 as a common craniofacial cleft with nasolabial region soft tissue defect, forced surgeons to find their ways of reconstructing using localregional flaps to provide defect closure. The cleft may occur in existence with other constriction band syndrome entity such as the ADAM complex. Attitudes toward epilepsy in Indonesia.

Background: Indonesia is the largest island country in the world with diverse ethnicity and cultural backgrounds. This study aimed to understand the variation in attitudes toward epilepsy among the Javanese, Sundanese, and the Minahasa ethnic groups in Indonesia.

Method: This study recruited Sundanese from Tasikmalaya and Minahasan from Manado using the Indonesian Public Attitudes Toward Epilepsy (PATE) scale.

Purpose: To determine the impact of an image processing technique on diagnostic accuracy of digital panoramic radiographs for the assessment of anatomical structures in paediatric patients with mixed dentition.

Materials And Methods: The study consisted of 50 digital panoramic radiographs of children aged from 6 to 12 years, which were later on processed using a dedicated image processing method. A modified clinical image quality evaluation chart was used to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of anatomical structures in maxillary and mandibular anterior and maxillary premolar region of processed images.

Background: Cardiopulmonary bypass during tetralogy of Fallot corrective surgery is associated with oxidative stress, and contributes to peri-operative problems. Curcumin has been known as a potent scavenger of reactive oxygen species, which enhances the activity of antioxidants and suppresses phosphorylation of transcription factors involved in inflamation and apoptosis.

Methods: a random, double-blind-parallel study and repeat measurement against 20 elderly-patients with knee-OA was conducted. Patients were divided into 2 equal groups, every group got piroxicam 20 mg/day or meloxicam 15 mg/day for 3 weeks.
