Objective: To investigate whether Black and White participants would experience improvements in perceptions of health care after undergoing a streamlined, concierge-based approach to KT evaluation.

Our collaboration to strengthen applied practice in public health training between two public universities in New Mexico has offered us insight into the types of institutional, administrative, and programmatic support beneficial for navigating work with limited resources and varying geographic considerations. We share some lessons from this burgeoning partnership between University of New Mexico's (UNM) College of Population Health and New Mexico State University's (NMSU) Department of Public Health Sciences which began in 2022. The main areas of learning focus on exchanging resources to extend relationships with fieldwork sites and site supervisors, engage and support students in their planning and implementation of their fieldwork, and identify institutional resources to maintain and grow programmatic quality.

The objective of this study is to investigate the association between different volumes of accelerometer-measured moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA) and functional fitness in older adults in a cross-sectional study (n = 242; 66 ± 5 years; 80% women). MVPA was assessed by accelerometer for 1 week. Based on the MVPA recommendations, the participants were classified as: (a) inactive (<50 min/week), (b) somewhat active (50-99 min/week), (c) moderately active (100-149 min/week), and (d) active (≥150 min/week).

Parent-implemented AAC verb symbol intervention with children with ASD.

A multiple-probe across participants design was used to examine whether three young children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) could learn to use verb symbols presented on an AAC application to request actions. Using researcher coaching (involving joint planning, descriptive instructions, and guided practice) parents of participants were taught to (a) embed opportunities for children to request actions in daily home routines, (b) model AAC responses, (c) use a prompt hierarchy with a time delay, and (d) contingently reinforce correct aided AAC responses. Following intervention delivered by parents, all three participants increased their use of verb symbols to request actions and parents implemented procedures with high fidelity.

A combination of X-ray absorption and low-temperature electronic absorption spectroscopies has been used to probe the geometric and electronic structures of the human mitochondrial amidoxime reducing component enzyme (hmARC1) in the oxidized Mo(VI) and reduced Mo(IV) forms. Extended X-ray absorption fine structure analysis revealed that oxidized enzyme possesses a 5-coordinate [MoO(S)(PDT)] (PDT = pyranopterin dithiolene) active site with a cysteine coordinated to Mo. A 5-coordinate geometry is retained in the reduced state, with the equatorial oxo being protonated.
