A study of the anomalous couplings of the Higgs boson to vector bosons, including -violation effects, has been conducted using its production and decay in the WW channel. This analysis is performed on proton-proton collision data collected with the CMS detector at the CERN LHC during 2016-2018 at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, and corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 138 . The different-flavor dilepton final state is analyzed, with dedicated categories targeting gluon fusion, electroweak vector boson fusion, and associated production with a W or Z boson.

Although substantial advances have been obtained in the pharmacological treatment of cystic fibrosis (CF) with the approval of Kaftrio, a combination of two correctors (VX-661, VX-445) and one potentiator (VX-770), new modulators are still needed to rescue F508del and other CFTR mutants with trafficking defects. We have previously identified PP compounds based on a tricyclic core as correctors with high efficacy in the rescue of F508del-CFTR on native epithelial cells of CF patients, particularly in combination with class 1 correctors (VX-809, VX-661). Compound PP028 was found as a lead candidate for the high rescue of F508del-CFTR and used for mechanistic insight indicating that PP028 behaves as a class 3 corrector, similarly to VX-445.

The fall of PRL levels below the lower limit of the normal range configures the condition of hypoprolactinemia. Unlike PRL excess, whose clinical features and treatments are well established, hypoprolactinemia has been only recently described as a morbid entity requiring prompt identification and proper therapeutic approach. Particularly, hypoprolactinemia has been reported to be associated with the development of metabolic syndrome and impaired cardiometabolic health, as visceral obesity, insulin-resistance, diabetes mellitus, dyslipidaemia, chronic inflammation, and sexual dysfunction have been found more prevalent in patients with hypoprolactinemia as compared to those with normoprolactinemia.

The life-long adherence to a dietary pattern able to provide a high amount of polyphenols demonstrating beneficial cardiometabolic effects is demanding for the general population. In this study, red grape pomace (GP) was used as an ingredient to increase the daily polyphenols' intake. The incorporation of crude crushed GP at 20 and 30% (/) in a control (CTR) biscuit formula improved the nutritional profile by increasing the fiber and reducing lipid and energy content while providing up to 540 mg of polyphenols per 100 g.

Maybe we missed something? Insulin resistance (IR) with associated hyperinsulinemia (Hypein) is a silent pandemic whose prevalence is continually growing in developed and developing countries, now exceeding 51% of the general population. IR/Hypein, despite the vast scientific literature supporting its adverse action on the development of type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular alterations, tumors, neurological disorders, and cellular senescence, is not yet considered an independent risk factor and, therefore, is not screened in the general population and adequately treated.

Gravitational radiation-reaction phenomena occurring in the dynamics of inspiralling compact binary systems are investigated at the first post-Newtonian order beyond the quadrupole approximation in the context of Einstein-Cartan theory, where quantum spin effects are modeled via the Weyssenhoff fluid. We exploit balance equations for the energy and angular momentum to determine the binary orbital decay until the two bodies collide.
