In the setting of protein C deficiency, skin necrosis, which occurs most often at the initial phase of oral anticoagulants therapy, is a rare side effect. Six cases have previously been reported in the literature. In this case report, we present a protein C deficient 42-year-old woman who was being treated for venous thrombosis.

Esthesioneuroblastoma is a rare tumor of the olfactory epithelium. This report analyzed 11 children and adolescents treated in a single institution between 1982 and 2002. For 9 patients, therapy consisted of an initial course of chemotherapy before surgical resection and postoperative radiotherapy, for 1 patient an initial course of chemotherapy before radiotherapy and for another resection before radiotherapy with no chemotherapy.

Purpose: This study was performed to determine the position of the mental foramen relative to the apices of the teeth based on panoramic radiographs in a Moroccan population. We also analyzed gender differences and the symmetry of location within individuals.
Materials And Methods: Seven hundred ninety-four panoramic radiographs were evaluated with regard to the location and symmetry of the mental foramina in male and female subjects.

Bone xanthoma is a rare disease due to the presence of cholesterol deposits in the bone. We report a case of a 56-year-old patient who was hospitalized in orthopedic department for fracture on the left humerus. Histological examination of bone biopsy performed at this site has objectified cholesterol deposits.

Objective: Paraspinal textiloma (ParaTex) is a well-known complication after posterior lumbar surgery. However, there are few articles on this topic, probably because of medicolegal concerns. In addition, patients with ParaTex can remain asymptomatic for months or even years unless it causes complications.
