Main-belt objects (MBOs) with volatile components provide important insights into the solar system's evolution and the origin of Earth's water. In this study, we employ a 3D thermophysical model to simulate the evolution of a representative ellipsoidal main-belt comet (MBC) and investigate the factors influencing its gas and dust activity. Evolutionary models of quantitative traits often assume trade-offs between beneficial and detrimental traits, requiring modellers to specify a function linking trait values. The choice of trade-off function can be consequential; functions that assume diminishing returns (accelerating costs) typically lead to single equilibrium genotypes, while decelerating costs often lead to genetic polymorphisms. The rover explored the region between the orbitally defined phyllosilicate-bearing Glen Torridon trough and the overlying layered sulfate-bearing unit, called the "clay-sulfate transition region." Samples were drilled from the top of the fluviolacustrine Glasgow member of the Carolyn Shoemaker formation (CSf) to the eolian Contigo member of the Mirador formation (MIf) to assess in situ mineralogical changes with stratigraphic position. The Sample Analysis at Mars-Evolved Gas Analysis (SAM-EGA) instrument analyzed drilled samples within this region to constrain their volatile chemistry and mineralogy.

Juno's highly elliptical polar orbits provide unprecedented in-situ observations of the electrodynamic interaction between Jupiter and its volcanic moon Io. These observations occur in regions never sampled before both near Io's orbit and near Jupiter's ionosphere and at distances between the two. Magnetic field data obtained during multiple traversals of magnetic field lines mapping to Io's orbit reveal remarkably rich and complex magnetic signatures near flux tubes connected to Io's orbital position.

A similar phenomenon is expected between Jupiter's magnetosphere and Ganymede's mini magnetosphere inside the Jovian magnetosphere. Introduction: Evidence suggests that brief, skills-based behavioral interventions are effective at improving clinical outcomes related to substance use and HIV, but little data exists on whether such interventions can incidentally improve employment. We examined preliminary changes in employment over six months following Khanya, a brief peer-delivered behavioral intervention to reduce substance use and improve antiretroviral therapy (ART) adherence compared to enhanced treatment as usual (ETAU).

Methods: Adults living with HIV (N = 61) with at least moderate substance use and ART non-adherence were recruited from a primary care clinic in Khayelitsha, South Africa, a community with high rates of unemployment.

Patient recruitment is challenging for clinical trials. We introduce TrialGPT, an end-to-end framework for zero-shot patient-to-trial matching with large language models. TrialGPT comprises three modules: it first performs large-scale filtering to retrieve candidate trials (TrialGPT-Retrieval); then predicts criterion-level patient eligibility (TrialGPT-Matching); and finally generates trial-level scores (TrialGPT-Ranking).

A scoping review was conducted to further explore quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods studies that investigate resiliency factors and related strengths in the Black autism community in the United States. A total of 436 articles were identified, with 28 studies included in the final review.
