Present research was designed to synthesize and characterize the flurbiprofen derivatives and to evaluate their analgesic, anti-inflammatory and gastro-protective activities in post-operative and chronic inflammatory pain models. Flurbiprofen derivatives were produced by using three-step processes involving esterification, hydrazide production, and schiff base, each of which modified a different carboxyl group. All the newly synthesized flurbiprofen derivatives () were characterized by H NMR,C NMR,F NMR and HR-ESI-MS, and the post-operative, inflammatory pain and ulcerogenic activities were determined in well-established animal models.

Employing a mixed-method research approach, the study conducted 30 semi-structured interviews with educated women and distributed a Likert Scale questionnaire to 500 women. The qualitative findings reveals that education significantly influences women's perspectives, guiding their priorities, and instilling a desire for compatibility and shared values in their relationships.

This research work is based on the synthesis of -Schiff base derivatives of the commercially available ibuprofen drug in outstanding yields through multistep reactions. Structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed by the help of modern spectroscopic techniques including high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (HR-ESI-MS), H NMR, and C NMR. The synthesized compounds were evaluated for their anticancer activity using a normal human embryonic kidney HEK293 cell and U87-malignant glioma (ATCC-HTB-14) as a cancer cell line.

A very simple mesotrione-sensing medium with enhanced sensitivity detection limits has been proposed. A renovated hydrothermal method was adopted for synthesizing fluorescent carbon dots from ethylenediamine and glucose using a Teflon-lined simple autoclave in a GC oven. The resultant carbon dots were characterized via TEM, FTIR, UV-vis, particle size distribution, and EDX and evaluated in a fluorimeter as the sensing medium for mesotrione detection.

The Hindu Kush Himalaya region is experiencing rapid climate change with adverse impacts in multiple sectors. To put recent climatic changes into a long-term context, here we reconstructed the region's climate history using tree-ring width chronologies of climate-sensitive Cedrus deodara and Pinus gerardiana. Growth-climate analysis reveals that the species tree-growth is primarily limited by moisture stress during or preceding the growing season, as indicated by a positive relationship between the chronology and precipitation and scPDSI, and a negative one with temperature.

The study was designed to investigate the antihypertensive potential of 2-(2, 5-dioxo-1-phenylpyrrolidin-3-yl)-3-(4-isopropylphenyl)-2-methylpropanal (Comp-1) and 2-(1-benzyl-2,5-dioxopyrrolidin-3-yl)-3-(4-isopropylphenyl)-2-methylpropanal (Succ-5) in rats. The study results showed that, just like nifedipine (the standard reference drug), the test compounds, Comp-1 (at doses of 15 and 20 mg/kg) and Succ-5 (at a dose of 20 mg/kg) had significant antihypertensive effect against deoxycorticosterone acetate-salted rats. The test compounds maintained the level of cardiac markers troponin I and creatinine kinase myocardial bands (CK-MB) in serum, and modulate the oxidative stress markers Glutathione s-transferase (GST) activity, reduced glutathione (GSH), catalase levels, and lipid peroxidation (LPO).
