Irreversible cardiotoxicity limits the clinical application of doxorubicin (DOX). DOX-induced cardiotoxicity has been associated with induction of senescence and activation of the p38 MAPK pathway. Losmapimod (LOSM), an orally active p38 MAPK inhibitor, is an anti-inflammatory agent with cardioprotective effects.

Skin cancer comprises one-third of all diagnosed cancer cases and remains a major health concern. Genetic and environmental parameters serve as the two main risk factors associated with the development of skin cancer, with ultraviolet radiation being the most common environmental risk factor. Studies have also found fair complexion, arsenic toxicity, indoor tanning, and family history among the prevailing causes of skin cancer.

The primary challenge to improving existing cancer treatment is to develop drugs that specifically target tumor cell. NGR peptide is tumor homing peptide that selectively target cancer cells while interleukin 15 is a pleiotropic cytokine with anticancer properties. This study computationally engineered a IL15-NGR fusion peptide by linking the homing peptide NGR with the targeting peptide IL-15.

A new area of applied chemistry called chemical graph theory uses combinatorial techniques to explain the complex interactions between atoms and bonds in chemical systems. This work investigates the use of edge partitions to decipher molecular connection patterns. The main goal is to use topological indices that capture important topological features to create a connection between the thermodynamic properties and structural characteristics of chemical molecules.

Metal organic frameworks (MOF's) have gained considerable attention in the field of energy storage and supercapacitors applications. Herein, we synthesized copper oxide (CuO) through the precipitation method and concurrently derived from the solvothermal prepared copper-benzene dicarboxylate (Cu-BDC) by calcination. The integration of MOF-derived nanostructures with traditional CuO to form a hybrid electrode material, has not been extensively explored.

Ebola virus disease (EVD) has long been a major public health concern for Democratic Republic of the Congo (DR Congo). First identified in DR Congo in 1976, the country has witnessed more than 25 outbreaks of this deadly disease, which has a case fatality rate of nearly 90% and manifesting with symptoms such as diarrhoea, vomiting, stomachache and haemorrhagic fever. African fruit bats have been speculated to be the reservoir of this virus.

The goal of this paper is to mitigate disturbances and input delays while optimizing controller actuation updates for discrete-time multi-agent systems through the use of an event-triggered confinement control system, especially in resource-constrained scenarios. This approach when combined with event-triggered control techniques, then every follower in the system adjusts its condition at specified times based on an event-triggered condition that is suggested. The containment control system issue in the presence of disturbances and input delays was tackled by using both decentralized and centralized event-triggered control systems.

The cultivation of forage crops on wastewater-irrigated soils, while common in many developing countries, poses significant risks due to heavy metal pollution, particularly Lead (Pb) and Nickel (Ni). This practice, aimed at addressing water scarcity challenges and providing affordable irrigation, was investigated for its ecological and human health implications across three diverse sites (site A, site B, and site C). Our study unveiled increases in Pb concentrations in contaminated soil, cultivated with Sesbania bispinosa showing the highest Pb accumulation.
