Kansas Kids Mental Health Access Program (KSKidsMAP) was developed to promote mental health workforce development through primary-care practitioners (PCPs) by offering free access to consultations, training, and care coordination. Kansas Kids Mental Health Access Program, a federally funded pediatric mental health care access program (PMHCA), is highly interprofessional in nature, and recommendations reflect the team composition and collaboration efforts.

Improving Medical Student Mentorship in Orthopaedic Surgery.

Introduction: Owing to limited clinical clerkships and travel restrictions related to COVID-19, recent medical student mentorship in orthopaedic surgery has been impacted negatively. The purpose of this quality improvement (QI) project was to determine if medical student awareness of orthopaedics as a possible career field may be improved through a mentoring program designed and delivered by orthopaedic residents.

Moderate physical activity and healthy eating habits among older African American women with diabetes and hypertension: a qualitative study of barriers and facilitators.

Objective: African American women have a high prevalence of atherosclerotic risk factors. Many of these atherosclerotic risk factors can be modified through increased physical activity and a healthy diet.

Design: We conducted a phenomenological qualitative study on perceptions of physical activity and healthy eating among 26 African American women, 55 years and older.

Methods: This review summarizes recent advances in the utility of cell-free (cf) and circulating tumor (ct) DNA as potential biomarkers to help guide individualized non-operative management strategies for LARC patients receiving neoadjuvant therapy.

Methods: Medical students participating in 6-week, summer, rural clinical experiences offered the survey to caregivers of children 0-23 months, born at term as singletons without a specialized diet.

Unlabelled: Malignant melanoma with metastasis to the stomach is rare and seldom diagnosed before death. The most common gastrointestinal (GI) metastatic site is the small intestine, followed by the colon, rectum and stomach. We present the case of a 55-year-old woman with a history of melanoma who presented with melena and syncope, and was found to have metastatic gastric melanoma.

DEPDC1 as a crucial factor in the progression of human osteosarcoma.

Objective: Novel therapeutic strategies are emerging with the increased understanding of the underlying mechanisms of human osteosarcoma. This current study tends to decipher the potentially critical role of DEP domain-containing 1 (DEPDC1), a tumor-related gene, during the progression of osteosarcoma.

Methods: Bioinformatics analysis of 25,035 genes from the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) databases was performed to screen differentially expressed genes between osteosarcoma and normal control groups, complemented by the examination of 85 clinical osteosarcoma specimens.
