Knowledge, Attitudes and Practices of Pediatricians About COVID-19 Vaccination to Children.

Objectives: Achieving high vaccination rates is very important in the prevention of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) as in other infectious diseases. This study aimed to evaluate pediatricians' knowledge, attitudes and behaviours about COVID-19 vaccination of children.

Methods: Our single-center, descriptive, cross-sectional, prospective study was conducted between September 20, 2022 and November 30, 2022.

Abducens Nerve Palsy in a Patient with COVID-19: A Case Report.

Numerous neurological manifestations associated with COVID-19 have been reported. However, abducens nerve palsy (ANP) associated with COVID-19 is very rare and mostly related to accompanying respiratory symptoms. Here we present a 29-year-old woman with unilateral ANP manifesting with diplopia and positive SARS-CoV-2 S antibodies, which were checked later.

Evaluation of Etiological Causes and Factors Affect Length of Hospitalization in Neonates Hospitalized with Lower Respiratory Tract Infection.

Objectives: This study aims to determine the risk factors by examining the sociodemographic characteristics of infants hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) due to lower respiratory tract infection (LRTI), to determine the factors that affect the duration of hospitalization, and to determine the underlying microbial factors and evaluate them in the light of the literature.

Methods: This study evaluated the data of newborns hospitalized with LTRI between 01 October 2022 and 31 March 2023. Demographic characteristics of the patients detected viral agents, duration of hospitalization and risk factors were recorded in the study form.

Management of Primary Immune Thrombocytopenia: Turkish Modified Delphi-Based Consensus Statement for Special Considerations.

Objective: Primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) is an acquired disorder of platelets with a complex and unclear mechanism of increased immune destruction or impaired production of platelets. While the management of ITP is evolving, there is still a need for guidance, particularly in certain circumstances such as pregnancy, emergencies, or patients requiring co-medications. We aimed to determine the tendencies of hematologists in Türkiye in the event of such special considerations.

This paper provides radiology departments with a practical guide for selecting and integrating AI solutions, focusing on interpretative tasks that require the active involvement of radiologists. Our approach is not to list available applications or review scientific evidence, as this information is readily available in previous studies; instead, we concentrate on the essential factors radiology departments must consider when choosing AI solutions.

Objectives: Determining the accuracy of cycloplegic refractive error measurements made with the Spot Vision Screener (SVS, Welch Allyn Inc, Skaneateles Falls, NY, USA) is important for refractive assessment of uncooperative patients during optometric examinations. This study compared cycloplegic refractive errors measured by SVS and tabletop autorefractometer to cycloplegic retinoscopy in children.

Background: Although most young people successfully manage the transition from childhood to adulthood, the speed and magnitude of these changes can cause stress that can exceed the coping abilities of many young people. Previous studies have suggested that adolescence is a vulnerable period for the development of psychiatric disorders; therefore, an adequate coping repertoire must be developed.
