Objective: We aimed to elucidate the histopathological pre-diagnosis of cranial gliomas with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques in gliomas.

Method: A total of 82 glioma patients were enrolled to our study. Pre-operative conventional MRI images (non-contrast T1/T2/flair/contrast-enhanced T1) and advanced MRI images (DAG and ADC mapping, MRI spectroscopy and perfusion MRI [PMRI]) were analyzed.

Impact of variables on recovery time in patients undergoing hemodialysis: an international survey.

Background: Dialysis recovery time (DRT) refers to the period during which fatigue and weakness subside following hemodialysis treatment, allowing patients to resume their daily routines. This study aimed to identify the factors influencing DRT in hemodialysis patients in Turkey and Portugal, where the prevalence of chronic kidney disease is notably high.

Methods: A cross-sectional observational study was conducted in a private dialysis center in Turkey and three dialysis centers in Portugal.

Objective: To investigate the effects of vibration therapy to home-based exercises on shoulder muscle strength, range of motion (ROM), pain-related disability, and muscles viscoelastic properties of shoulder and neck in patients with breast cancer undergoing radiotherapy.

Design: In this randomized controlled superiority trial was conducted with 38 participants who underwent breast cancer surgery. All patients were randomized into two groups: control group (CG) and vibration group (VG).

Method: Our study included 122 EC patients who underwent PET/CT for staging. Muscle and adipose tissue characteristics were evaluated, including lumbar (L3) and cervical (C3) muscle areas, psoas major (PM) and sternocleidomastoid muscle (SCM) parameters, and PET parameters for visceral and subcutaneous adipose tissue (SAT).

Purpose: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of two prophylactic strategies in preventing shunt infections in pediatric patients undergoing ventriculoperitoneal shunt surgery.

Methods: This retrospective study included pediatric patients who underwent ventriculoperitoneal shunt surgery between 2017 and 2024. Patients were divided into two groups based on the prophylactic method used: Group 1 (VS) where the shunt was washed with vancomycin solution before placement, and Group 2 (TVP) where vancomycin powder was applied to the subgaleal and subcutaneous tissues after shunt placement.

Materials And Methods: Studies evaluating the outcomes (efficacy and safety) of robot-assisted ileal conduit creation or artificial urinary sphincter (R-AUS) implantation or augmentation cystoplasty or continent urinary diversion creation in patients with NLUTD were included.
