In this paper, we investigate the controlled movement of optically trapped nano-particles in an interference optical lattice. The suggested interferometric optical tweezers setup utilizes the superposition of three orthogonal Gaussian standing waves to create 3D optical lattices. Dynamic control over the constructed lattices can be achieved simply by changing the incident beam parameters using a polarizer or a phase shifter.

Introduction: Thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS) caused by superior mediastinal soft tissue mass has never been reported in the literature, the aim of this study is to discuss a case of TOS caused by a superior mediastinal mass in which the histopathological examinations of the mass showed vascular malformation.
Case Report: A 45-year-old female presented with left upper limb pain and numbness for three months, associated with swelling and attacks of shortness of breath. Imaging studies showed soft tissue mass involving the superior mediastinum.

The reaction of 2-benzimidazolethiole (2-BIT) with copper dichloride in the presence of two equivalents of triphenylphosphine led to a binuclear complex of the type [Cu(µ-S-2-BIT)2(Ph3P)2Cl2]: dichloridobis(μ-1,3-dihydro-2H-benzimidazole-2-thione)bis(triphenylphosphi ne)-di-copper. The Cu(I) compound has been fully identified by elemental analysis, molar conductivity, FT-IR, UV/Vis, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction (XRD). The XRD study reveals that the complex has distorted tetrahedral geometry around the Cu(I)center, which contains two bridge sulfur atoms.

Pacemaker and implantable cardioverter defibrillator migration to the breast are an extremely rare complication. The rarity of this phenomenon and its potential to mimic breast cancer emphasize the importance of reporting such cases. This study presents a rare migration of the device to the breast tissue that clinically mimicked breast cancer.

This study authorizes processes and approaches using optical and microwave data to determine the availability of water in the study area at any given moment. This will aid in identifying the optimal time and location for irrigation to enhance crop growth. For this purpose, a set of spectral vegetation parameters (from Sentinel-2), soil moisture (from Sentinel-1), evapotranspiration, and surface temperature (from Landsat-8) were used, along with field data on water content and irrigation timing.

Introduction: There are multiple management modalities for idiopathic granulomatous mastitis, but the treatment of choice is still under debate. This study aims to evaluate the diagnosis and outcomes of different management modalities in patients with idiopathic granulomatous mastitis and to identify the risk factors associated with recurrence.
Method: This is a single-group cohort study that included those patients who had idiopathic granulomatous mastitis.

Background: SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for COVID-19, primarily affects the respiratory system by targeting the Angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptor and TMPRSS2. However, these receptors are also present in other organs, including the testes, where a higher concentration of ACE2 receptors has been observed. This raises concerns about the potential impact of the virus on male fertility.

Quantum dots (QDs) are semiconductor materials that range from 2 nm to 10 nm. These nanomaterials (NMs) are smaller and have more unique properties compared to conventional nanoparticles (NPs). One of the unique properties of QDs is their special optoelectronic properties, making it possible to apply these NMs in bioimaging.

One of the side effects of doing sports activities is the increase of free radicals and oxidative stress. The present study aimed to investigate the effect of 8 weeks of increasing endurance training with L-arginine supplementation on oxidative indices in the cardiac organ of male Wistar rats. 32 male Wistar rats were divided into four groups control, L-arginine, endurance training, and L-arginine plus endurance training.

Background: The lockdown and social distancing caused by Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) may have changed Physical Activity Level (PAL), eating behavior, and health habits due to long-term confinement worldwide.
Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the PAL, eating behavior, Quality of Life (QoL), General Health (GH), and mood states during COVID-19 confinement in a large sample of Iraqi adults.
Methods: 3738 healthy adults (age 18-70 years) residing in Halabjeh, Iraq answered the online questionnaires including the short form of international physical activity, GH, three-factor eating (TFEQ-R18), and a short form of the profile of mood states (POMS-SF) questionnaires.

Background: Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is one of the health issues causing untoward low-grade systemic inflammation. Aerobic Training (AT) and Vitamin D (Vit D) supplementation are among the approaches that improve lipid profile and liver enzymes in T2DM. However, the mechanisms responsible for these improvements are not fully elucidated.

A new complex of Zn(II), with 5-chloro-2-methylbenzoxazole ligand (L), has been synthesized by the reaction of zinc dichloride with the ligand (L= C8H6ClNO) in ethanol solution: dichloridobis(5-chloro-2-methyl-1,3-benzoxazole)-zinc(II), C16H12Cl4N2O2Zn. The synthesized complex has been fully characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductivity, FT‑IR, UV‑Vis, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction (XRD). The XRD analysis reveals that the complex has a 1:2 metal-to-ligand ratio.

About 80% higher risk of amputation resulted from microbial infection was indicated for patients with diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs). Micro and nano-scaffolds made of natural polymers specifically cellulose, chitosan, and collagen can donate the biocompatibility, biodegradability, and bioavailability properties appropriate to accelerate wound closure before microbial biofilm formation. Antimicrobial activity of these wound dressings can be improved by incorporation of bioactive compounds extracted from medicinal plant species such as curcumin.

Background: Vitamin D (Vit D) supplementation and Aerobic Training (AT) exert several beneficial effects such as antioxidant and anti-inflammatory actions. The literature on the effects of AT and Vit D supplementation on the oxidative stress biomarkers and gene expression of inflammatory cytokines in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is limited. The present study aimed to examine the effects of AT and Vit D supplementation on inflammation and oxidative stress signaling pathways in T2DM patients.
