In this paper, we investigate the controlled movement of optically trapped nano-particles in an interference optical lattice. The suggested interferometric optical tweezers setup utilizes the superposition of three orthogonal Gaussian standing waves to create 3D optical lattices. Dynamic control over the constructed lattices can be achieved simply by changing the incident beam parameters using a polarizer or a phase shifter.

Thoracic outlet syndrome caused by superior mediastinal mass: A case report.

Introduction: Thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS) caused by superior mediastinal soft tissue mass has never been reported in the literature, the aim of this study is to discuss a case of TOS caused by a superior mediastinal mass in which the histopathological examinations of the mass showed vascular malformation.

Case Report: A 45-year-old female presented with left upper limb pain and numbness for three months, associated with swelling and attacks of shortness of breath. Imaging studies showed soft tissue mass involving the superior mediastinum.

Brucella epididymo-orchitis: A single-center experience with a review of the literature.

Brucella epididymo-orchitis (BEO) is a rare complication of brucellosis. Despite the high incidence of brucellosis in developing countries, few case series on BEO are available. This study focuses on the clinical presentations, diagnosis, and treatment of BEO with a review of the literature.

Myeloid osseous metaplasia of the lung: A case report.

Pulmonary osseous metaplasia is a disease in which mature bone is found within the parenchyma of the lung. The current study presents a case of pulmonary osseous metaplasia in a 64-year-old female. The patient was previously diagnosed with transitional cell carcinoma (TCC) of the lower ureter.

Synthesis, Crystal Structure, Hirshfeld Surface Analysis, and DFT Calculations of the Novel Binuclear Copper(I) Complex Containing 2-Benzimidazolethiole and Triphenylphosphine Ligands.

The reaction of 2-benzimidazolethiole (2-BIT) with copper dichloride in the presence of two equivalents of triphenylphosphine led to a binuclear complex of the type [Cu(µ-S-2-BIT)2(Ph3P)2Cl2]: dichloridobis(μ-1,3-dihydro-2H-benzimidazole-2-thione)bis(triphenylphosphi ne)-di-copper. The Cu(I) compound has been fully identified by elemental analysis, molar conductivity, FT-IR, UV/Vis, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction (XRD). The XRD study reveals that the complex has distorted tetrahedral geometry around the Cu(I)center, which contains two bridge sulfur atoms.

Unusual migration of implantable cardioverter defibrillator that clinically mimicking breast cancer: A case report.

Pacemaker and implantable cardioverter defibrillator migration to the breast are an extremely rare complication. The rarity of this phenomenon and its potential to mimic breast cancer emphasize the importance of reporting such cases. This study presents a rare migration of the device to the breast tissue that clinically mimicked breast cancer.

Giant sacrococcygeal teratoma in an infant: a case report with a literature review.

Introduction And Importance: A sacrococcygeal teratoma (SCT) is a rare embryonal tumor that emerges in the sacrococcygeal area. It affects one in every 35 000-40 000 live births. Herein, we report a case of a substantial SCT in a neonate.

Assessing how irrigation practices and soil moisture affect crop growth through monitoring Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 data.

This study authorizes processes and approaches using optical and microwave data to determine the availability of water in the study area at any given moment. This will aid in identifying the optimal time and location for irrigation to enhance crop growth. For this purpose, a set of spectral vegetation parameters (from Sentinel-2), soil moisture (from Sentinel-1), evapotranspiration, and surface temperature (from Landsat-8) were used, along with field data on water content and irrigation timing.

A vast dataset for Kurdish handwritten digits and isolated characters recognition.

This article presents two massive datasets for central Kurdish handwriting digits and isolated characters named and . The first dataset, named dataset, contains 70,000 images of Kurdish digits, 7000 images for each digit, and a printed A4 paper with a grid of 10 × 10 is used for data collection. Apart from digits, the dataset includes 245,000 images of all Kurdish characters, 7000 images for each character; data was collected via a printed A4 paper with a grid of 12 × 10 for this dataset.

Zinc(II) Complex Containing Oxazole Ring: Synthesis, Crystal Structure, Characterization, DFT Calculations, and Hirshfeld Surface Analysis.

A new complex of Zn(II), with 5-chloro-2-methylbenzoxazole ligand (L), has been synthesized by the reaction of zinc dichloride with the ligand (L= C8H6ClNO) in ethanol solution: dichloridobis(5-chloro-2-methyl-1,3-benzoxazole)-zinc(II), C16H12Cl4N2O2Zn. The synthesized complex has been fully characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductivity, FT‑IR, UV‑Vis, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction (XRD).  The XRD analysis reveals that the complex has a 1:2 metal-to-ligand ratio.

Antibacterial and wound healing applications of curcumin in micro and nano-scaffolds based on chitosan, cellulose, and collagen.

About 80% higher risk of amputation resulted from microbial infection was indicated for patients with diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs). Micro and nano-scaffolds made of natural polymers specifically cellulose, chitosan, and collagen can donate the biocompatibility, biodegradability, and bioavailability properties appropriate to  accelerate wound closure before microbial biofilm formation. Antimicrobial activity of these wound dressings can be improved by incorporation of bioactive compounds extracted from medicinal plant species such as curcumin.

In this research, the feasibility of using Medium-density fiberboard waste ash (MDFWA) as part of cement in concrete was investigated. For this purpose, 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25% of the cement in concrete was substituted with MDFWA.

Background: Vitamin D (Vit D) supplementation and Aerobic Training (AT) exert several beneficial effects such as antioxidant and anti-inflammatory actions. The literature on the effects of AT and Vit D supplementation on the oxidative stress biomarkers and gene expression of inflammatory cytokines in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is limited. The present study aimed to examine the effects of AT and Vit D supplementation on inflammation and oxidative stress signaling pathways in T2DM patients.
