Purpose: To investigate how varying ferrule heights and the number of glass fiber posts affect fracture resistance and behavior of endodontically treated maxillary first premolars with substantial loss of tooth structure.
Materials And Methods: Twenty-four extracted endodontically treated human maxillary first premolars were divided into three groups (n = 8) based on ferrule height and post number. The groups were as follows: premolars of 2 mm ferrule height that were restored with single posts (control group), premolars of 0.

Advanced triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) has poorer outcomes due to its aggressive behavior and restricted therapeutic options. While therapies like checkpoint inhibitors and PARP inhibitors offer some benefits, chemotherapy remains ineffective beyond the first line of treatment. Antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) like sacituzumab govitecan-hziy (SG) represent a significant advancement.

The current study was conducted to explore the phytochemical composition and in vitro antioxidant activity of Moringa oleifera leaves aqueous extract (MOLE), as well as its in vivo modulatory effects on abamectin (ABM)-induced oxidative stress in rat erythrocytes and brain tissue. Following extraction, the total phenolic, flavonoid, condensed tannin and ortho-diphenolic contents of MOLE were determined. High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis allowed the identification and the quantification of 12 bioactive compounds: gallic acid, chlorogenic acid, caffeic acid, vanillic acid, quercetin, ferulic acid, ascorbic acid, alizarin, hesperidin, neohesperidin, resveratrol, and naringin.

Metastatic cervical cancer, the advanced stage where the cancer spreads beyond the cervix to other parts of the body, poses significant treatment challenges and is associated with poor survival rates. Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor 2 (VEGFR2), a critical angiogenic mediator, is upregulated in metastatic cervical cancer, driving the formation of new blood vessels that fuel tumor growth and spread, making it an attractive target for anti-angiogenic therapies aimed at halting metastasis. This study aims to determine the anti-angiogenic effects of natural compounds to identify new VEGFR2 inhibitors for managing metastatic cervical cancer.

The prediction of crack patterns is one of the main tasks in the field of fracture mechanics in order to prevent the total damage of various materials, particularly Methyl Methacrylate Polymer (PMMA). The few data in the literature underscores the need for additional experiments on PMMA to analyze the performance of the phase-field approach to predict crack trajectories. The main purpose of this study is to verify the accuracy of the phase-field approach with a staggered scheme, based on spectral decomposition, for predicting crack propagation in PMMA specimens by comparing it with the experimental results presented in this work.

Many existing studies show that there exists a strong relationship between structures and characteristics of molecules. Topological indices are often used in modeling the properties of chemical compounds and biological activities in theoretical chemistry. Topological indices are numerical values associated with structures of molecules in such a way that they remain constant under graph isomorphism.
