Yet following the provocation of various feminist scholars, taking the fetal sonogram as the automatic object of concern vis-à-vis ultrasound cedes ground to anti-abortionists, who deploy fetal images to argue that life begins at conception and that the unborn are rights bearing subjects who must be protected. How might feminists escape this analytical trap, where discussions of ultrasonics must always be engaged in the act of debunking? (Fabricius, 1794) (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) is a pyralid moth with two ears in its abdomen that it uses for detecting mates and predators. Despite no connection between the two ears having been found and no other elements having been observed through X-ray scans of the moth, it seems to be capable of directional hearing with just one ear when one of them is damaged. Background: The general anaesthesia or awake-regional anaesthesia in infancy (GAS) trial demonstrated evidence that most neurodevelopmental outcomes at 2 and 5 yr of age in infants who received a single general anesthetic for elective inguinal herniorrhaphy were clinically equivalent when compared to infants who did not receive general anesthesia. More than 20% of the children in the trial had at least one subsequent anesthetic exposure after their initial surgery. Using the GAS database, this study aimed to address whether multiple (two or more) general anesthetic exposures compared to one or no general anesthetic exposure in early childhood were associated with worse neurodevelopmental outcomes at 5 yr.

In order to construct a clinical classification prediction model for hydrocephalus after intercerebral haemorrhage(ICH) to guide clinical treatment decisions, this paper retrospectively analyses the clinical data of 844 cases of ICH and hydrocephalus inpatients admitted to Yueyang People's Hospital from May 2019 to October 2022, of which 95 cases of hydrocephalus occurred after ICH and no hydrocephalus in 749 cases. The following indicators were compared between the two groups of patients: gender, age, Glasgow Coma Scale(GCS)score, whether the amount of bleeding was greater than 30 ml, whether it broke into the ventricle or not, modified Graeb score(MGS), modified Rankin Scale (MRS) score, whether surgery was performed or not, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. After variable screening, the following six variables were selected: GCS score, MGS, MRS score, whether the bleeding volume was greater than 30 ml, whether it broke into the ventricle or not, and whether surgery was performed or not were modelled and analysed using logistic regression model and support vector machine model in machine learning.

Designing molecular receptors that bind anions in water is a significant challenge, and an even greater difficulty lies in using these receptors to remove anions from water without resorting to the hazardous liquid-liquid extraction approach. We here demonstrate an effective and synthetically simple strategy toward these goals by exploiting ion-pair assembly of macrocycles. Our anion binding ensemble consists of an octa-chloro tetra-urea macrocyclic anion receptor (ClTU), which forms water-dispersible aggregates, and a tetra-cationic fluorescent dye 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(1-methyl-4-pyridinio)porphyrin (TMPyP4), which provides Coulombic stabilization and fluorescence reporting of anion binding in an ion-pair assembly.
