Reproductive failures, such as recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) and recurrent implantation failures (RIF) are a major challenge for reproductive medicine. The current management of RPL and RIF cases identifies some causes for unsuccessful pregnancy in up to half of patients. Several studies have suggested that immune disorders are responsible for an important portion of unexplained cases of RPL and RIF.

Background: Some odontogenic cysts (OCs) and odontogenic tumors (OTs) are infiltrative and often recur, causing bone destruction and tooth loss. In the elderly, in particular, these injuries cause significant morbidity, making rehabilitation difficult and compromising the quality of life of these individuals. Objective: To determine the prevalence and demographic characteristics of OCs, non-odontogenic cysts (NOCs), and OTs diagnosed in an elderly Brazilian population (≥60 years).

A group of children with clinical suspicion of dengue were assessed to determine if there was an overestimation of dengue compared with that of leptospirosis and leishmaniasis. This descriptive and analytical cross-sectional study, based on the active search of participants with acute febrile illness, was conducted at two pediatric hospitals. The collection of clinical and epidemiological data was performed using questionnaires, and laboratory tests specific for dengue were performed using immunochromatographic, serological, and molecular methods.

Introduction: Currently, there is no scientific consensus on the concept of alcohol addiction recovery beyond substance use control. This conceptual issue challenges the implementation of therapeutic strategies and mental health policies that are unrestricted to symptomatic remission. Aiming to contribute to its definition, this study aimed to examine the recovery experience of individuals with alcohol addiction using dialectical phenomenological psychopathology (DPP) as a theoretical and methodological framework.

Background And Aim: Despite the wide spectrum of uses, one of the chief drawbacks to expanding microalgae as a food supplement in livestock is the lack of a regimen protocol with established dosage and time length of supplementation. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the effect of short-term supplementation with increasing doses of microalgae on ovarian response in goats reared in northeast Brazil.
Materials And Methods: Twenty-eight goats had their follicular waves synchronized using three injections of a prostaglandin analog at 7-day intervals.
