We analyzed circulatory molecular indicators of the main ferroptosis-related processes, comprising lipid peroxidation (malondialdehyde (MDA), 4-hydroxynonenal (4-HNE), and hexanoyl-lysine adduct (HEL)), glutathione-related antioxidant defense (total glutathione (reduced (GSH) and oxidized (GSSG)) and glutathione peroxidase 4 (GPX4)), and iron metabolism (iron, transferrin and ferritin) to estimate their contributions to the clinical manifestation of MS and differences between RRMS and PMS disease course.

In this research is presented a new method for determining the weights of criteria called simple weight calculation (SIWEC) method. The steps of this method are presented in the practical example of determining the importance of criteria for the needs of sales of agricultural products in the Semberija region. During the presentation of this method two methods are elaborated the simple SIWEC method which includes numerical ratings and the fuzzy SIWEC method which includes ratings in the form of linguistic value.

This study investigates the microstructural effects of process parameters on Ti6Al4V alloy produced via powder bed fusion (PBF) using laser beam melting (LB/M) technology. The research focuses on how variations in laser power, exposure velocity, and hatching distance influence the final material's porosity, microhardness, and microstructure. To better understand the relationships between process parameters, energy density, and porosity, a simple mathematical model was developed.

In the last decade, geopolitical instability across the globe has increased the risk of a large-scale radiological event, when radiation biomarkers would be needed for an effective triage of an irradiated population. Ionizing radiation elicits a complex response in the proteome, genome, and metabolome and hence can be leveraged as rapid and sensitive indicators of irradiation-induced damage. We analyzed the plasma of total-body irradiated (TBI) leukemia patients (n = 24) and nonhuman primates (NHPs; n = 10) before and 24 h after irradiation, and we performed a global metabolomic study aiming to provide plasma metabolites as candidate radiation biomarkers for biological dosimetry.

This paper discusses the design process toward new lumped chaotic systems that originates in higher-order ordinary differential equations commonly used as description of ideal oscillators.
