Background: Despite that globally the percent of women and men who tested positive for COVID-19 appears equal and that men with COVID-19 were 60% more likely than women to be severely ill and to die from complications (Rozenberg et al., 2020), studies of sex differences show that women compared with men are more likely to manifest persistent post-COVID-19 syndrome (PPCS).
Purpose: In this paper, we address some of the extant evidence for impact of the PPCS on women's health and well-being to underpin our suggestions for research and policy considerations.

The science of learning (learning science) is an interprofessional field that concerns itself with how the brain learns and remembers important information. Learning science has compiled a set of evidence-based strategies, such as distributed practice, retrieval practice, and interleaving, which are quite relevant to continuing professional development (CPD). Spreading out study and practice separated by cognitive breaks (distributed practice), testing oneself to check mastery and memory of previously learned information (retrieval practice), and mixing the learning of distinct but related material (interleaving) represent strategies that are underutilized in CPD.

In Brazil, research indicates that primary family members are the main source of support for individuals with chronic conditions such as hypertension (HTN). The burden of caregiving not only hinders effective HTN management but can also cause stress and anxiety, potentially leading to HTN in caregivers. Despite this, few studies have explored the impact of caregiving on these family members.

Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) was approved in 2012 as a less invasive alternative to surgical valve repair, offering a treatment for older frail patients.
