The trend of consuming food high in calories, fat, and sugar with little nutritional value and reduced physical exercise has resulted in an alarming ratio of overweight and obese subjects worldwide. Low-grade chronic inflammation is the key feature of obesity that causes an increase in pro-inflammatory cytokines and decrease in anti-inflammatory cytokines in circulation. The current study was aimed to investigate the effect of high-fat diet on the architecture of spleen, liver, and skeletal muscle and changes in the expression of hepatic cytokines.

Myeloid differentiation 88 (MyD88) is a well-established inflammatory adaptor protein. It is one of the essential downstream proteins of the toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) signaling pathway. TLRs are pattern recognition receptors that are usually activated by the damage-associated molecular pattern molecules (DAMPs).

The dental abnormalities are the typical features of many ectodermal dysplasias along with congenital malformations of nails, skin, hair, and sweat glands. However, several reports of non-syndromic/isolated tooth agenesis have also been found in the literature. The characteristic features of hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia (HED) comprise of hypodontia/oligodontia, along with hypohidrosis/anhidrosis, and hypotrichosis.

Background: Jalili syndrome (JS) is a rare cone-rod dystrophy (CRD) associated with amelogenesis imperfecta (AI). The first clinical presentation of JS patients was published in 1988 by Jalili and Smith. Pathogenic mutations in the Cyclin and CBS Domain Divalent Metal Cation Transport Mediator 4 (CNNM4) magnesium transporter protein have been reported as the leading cause of this anomaly.

Progressive pseudorheumatoid dysplasia (PPRD) inherited in an autosomal recessive fashion, is a disabling disease, characterized by platyspondyly, irregularities of the vertebral bodies, narrowing of the intervertebral discs and intraarticular spaces, widening of the epiphysis-metaphysis, polyarthralgia, multiple joint contractures, and disproportionate short stature. A number of studies have been performed on this deformity in various populations around the globe, including the Arab population. Mutations in , located on 6q22, are reported to cause this anomaly.

Background: Aggressive behavior of tumor metastasis comes from certain mutations, changes in cellular metabolic and signaling pathways that are majorly altered by tumor microenvironment (TME), its other components and growth factors like transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1) which is chiefly known for its epithelial to mesenchymal transformation (EMT). EMT is a critical step of metastasis cascade in actual human lung cancer scenario.
Objective: Our present study is focused on unveiling the in-vivo metastatic behavior of TGF-β1 treated lung cancer cells that undergo EMT.

The main objective of this study is to find out the importance of machine vision approach for the classification of five types of land cover data such as bare land, desert rangeland, green pasture, fertile cultivated land, and Sutlej river land. A novel spectra-statistical framework is designed to classify the subjective land cover data types accurately. Multispectral data of these land covers were acquired by using a handheld device named multispectral radiometer in the form of five spectral bands (blue, green, red, near infrared, and shortwave infrared) while texture data were acquired with a digital camera by the transformation of acquired images into 229 texture features for each image.
