Tissue-resident memory (T) T cells have emerged as key players in cancer immunosurveillance, and their presence has been linked to a favorable clinical outcome in solid cancer patients. Liver metastases exhibit a highly immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment, however, the role and clinical impact of T cell infiltration in colorectal cancer remain elusive. The expression of several tissue residency and activation biomarkers has been investigated on tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes isolated from 26 patients' colorectal cancer liver metastases (CRC liver metastases) and compared to 16 peripheral blood samples of patients with CRC liver metastases.

Subpial hemorrhage: A rare and underrecognized site of intracranial hemorrhage in neonates.

Subpial hemorrhage (SPH) is a rare but significant cause of neonatal seizures and respiratory distress, primarily affecting full-term infants without apparent risk factors. We report the case of a full-term newborn who presented with recurrent episodes of apnea, desaturation, and seizures shortly after birth. MRI revealed an acute hemorrhagic collection in the left temporal region, accompanied by cortical cytotoxic edema.

Safety and efficacy of trifluridine/tipiracil +/- bevacizumab plus XB2001 (anti-IL-1α antibody): a single-center phase 1 trial.

XB2001, a fully human monoclonal antibody neutralizing IL-1α, was evaluated for safety and preliminary efficacy with trifluridine/tipiracil (FTD/TPI) and bevacizumab in metastatic colorectal cancer patients previously treated with oxaliplatin- and irinotecan-based chemotherapies.

The aim of the study was to identify distinct trajectories of perceived stress and control in athletes across a season of sports competitions and whether these trajectory memberships could be predicted by subdimensions of the emotional intelligence (EI). Latent class growth analyses were performed on a five-stage longitudinal measurement plan (to cover the entire sporting season). Four hundred fifteen athletes answered to the Brief Emotional Intelligence Scale, the Mastery Scale, the Perceived Stress Scale, and the Attainment of Sport Achievement Goal Scale.
