Bearing degradation is the primary cause of electrical machine failures, making reliable condition monitoring essential to prevent breakdowns. This paper presents a novel hybrid model for the detection of multiple faults in bearings, combining Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks with random forest (RF) classifiers, further enhanced by the Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO) algorithm. The proposed approach is structured in three stages: first, time and frequency domain features are manually extracted from vibration signals; second, these features are processed by a dual-layer LSTM network, which is specifically designed to capture complex temporal relationships within the data; finally, the GWO algorithm is employed to optimize feature selection from the LSTM outputs, feeding the most relevant features into the RF classifier for fault classification.

The attempt of this review article is to determine the impact of nuclear and mitochondrial damages on the propagation of cancer incidences. This review has advanced our understanding to altered genes and their relevant cancerous proteins. The progressive raising effects of free reactive oxygen species ROS and toxicogenic compounds contributed to significant mutation in nuclear and mitochondrial DNA where the incidence of gastric cancer is found to be linked with down regulation of some relevant genes and mutation in some important cellular proteins such as AMP-18 and CA-11.

The present study shows the chemical profile and cytotoxic properties of the ethanolic extracts of Inula viscosa from Northeast Algeria. The extract was obtained by maceration using ethanol. In the present study, two extracts from the aerial parts of the endemic species were analyzed for the first time by ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with a diode array detector and an electrospray mass spectrometer (UHPLC-DAD-ESI/MS) method in order to identify and quantify their phenolic compounds. These extracts' antioxidant, α-glucosidase and α-amylase inhibitory activities were also evaluated. UHPLC-DAD-ESI/MS allowed the identification of 28 and 20 compounds in the ethanolic and aqueous extracts, respectively; among them, 5--caffeoylquinic acid was the most abundant in both extracts.
