Firstly, the time-delay term in the system model is transformed equivalently, to establish the discrete system model of multi-packet transmission without time-delay; furthermore, the construction of multi-kernel function is transformed into kernel function coefficient optimization, and the optimization problem can be solved by the chaos adaptive artificial fish swarm algorithm, then the online predictive compensation will be made for data packet dropout of multi-packet transmission through the sliding window multi-kernel LS-SVM. After that, a sliding-mode controller design method of proportional integral differential approach law based on neural network is proposed.

To enrich any model and its dynamics introduction of delay is useful, that models a precise description of real-life phenomena. Differential equations in which current time derivatives count on the solution and its derivatives at a prior time are known as delay differential equations (DDEs). In this study, we are introducing new techniques for finding the numerical solution of fractional delay differential equations (FDDEs) based on the application of neural minimization (NM) by utilizing Chebyshev simulated annealing neural network (ChSANN) and Legendre simulated annealing neural network (LSANN).

We investigate the dynamics and pattern formation of two ring dark solitons in a two-dimensional binary Bose-Einstein condensate with tunable intercomponent interaction via numerical simulation of the time-dependent Gross-Pitaevskii equation. Both the black and gray ring dark solitons are considered for cases where the modulation frequency of the intercomponent interaction is resonant or nonresonant with the one of the trapping potential. Our results show that in the presence of periodic modulation of the intercomponent interaction not only are the lifetimes of the ring dark solitons largely extended but also their decaying dynamics are dramatically affected.

However, face brightness is often confounded with whiteness in the beauty industry; few studies have examined these perceptual differences. To investigate the interactions among face color attributes, we measured the effect of saturation on brightness and whiteness in both uniform color patches and face images to elucidate the relationship between these two perceptions.

Urban green spaces are considered an appropriate way to reduce urban heat island effects and provide comfort to the nearby occupants. In addition to cooling the actual space, urban green spaces are also able to influence the surrounding area, and this phenomenon is called the urban green space cooling effect. The most important issues with regard to the cooling effects of urban green spaces are the intensity and density of the cooling, which can play a major role for urban designers and planners in dealing with urban heat island.

Organic residue analysis of ancient ceramic vessels enables the investigation of natural resources that were used in daily cooking practices in different part of the world. Despite many methodological advances, the utilization of plants in pottery has been difficult to demonstrate chemically, hindering the study of their role in ancient society, a topic that is especially important to understanding early agricultural practices at the start of the Neolithic period. Here, we present the first lipid residue study on the Chinese Neolithic pottery dated to 5.

We constructed a near infrared spectroscopy-based real-time feedback system to estimate the subjects' emotional states using the changes in oxygenated hemoglobin concentration [Δ(oxy-Hb)] in the prefrontal cortex (PFC). Using this system, we investigated the influences of continual mild and equivocal stimuli consisting of lights and a reconstructed waterfall sound on Δ[oxy-Hb] in the PFC. The visual (light) and auditory (sound) stimuli changed randomly and independently, depending on the emotional states of the individual subjects.
