Context: Current guidelines for distinguishing Cushing's disease (CD) from ectopic ACTH secretion (EAS) are questionable, as they use pituitary magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) as first-line investigation for all patients. CRH testing is no longer available, and they suggest performing inferior petrosal sinus sampling (BIPPS), an invasive and rarely available investigation, in many patients.
Objective: To establish noninvasive personalized diagnostic strategies based on the probability of EAS estimated from simple baseline parameters.

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a common condition that is increasing in prevalence worldwide. Untreated OSA has a negative impact on health-related quality of life and is an independent risk factor for cardiovascular diseases. Despite available data suggesting that cardiovascular risk might differ according to clinical phenotypes and comorbidities, current approaches to OSA treatment usually take a "one size fits all" approach.

Dental implants have been clinically used for almost five decades with high success rates. research models used in implant dentistry are limited to two-dimensional experiments, which are reproducible and well adapted to evaluate a single parameter but do not reproduce the complexity of clinical settings. On the contrary, the research models using animals offer similar histological and anatomical features to humans, and tissue healing can be close to a clinical situation, but those models are usually accompanied with ethical concerns, and their outcomes could not be extrapolated to humans because of interspecies variabilities.

Mounting evidence is identifying human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) as a potential oncogenic virus. HCMV has been detected in glioblastoma multiforme (GB). Herewith, we present the first experimental evidence for the generation of CMV-Elicited Glioblastoma Cells (CEGBCs) possessing glioblastoma-like traits that lead to the formation of glioblastoma in orthotopically xenografted mice.

Background: Neonates have an increased risk of vitamin D insufficiency due to the inadequate supplementation of mothers and infants after birth. Insufficiency of vitamin D is frequently detected in critically ill patients and is associated with disease severity and mortality. There is yet to be a consensus on the appropriate regimen of vitamin D3 supplementation in high-risk infants.

Importance: Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) is currently the most common chronic liver disease worldwide. It is important to develop noninvasive tests to assess the disease severity and prognosis.
Objective: To study the prognostic implications of baseline levels and dynamic changes of the vibration-controlled transient elastography (VCTE)-based scores developed for the diagnosis of advanced fibrosis (Agile 3+) and cirrhosis (Agile 4) in patients with MASLD.

The existence, composition, and continuity of the medial wall of the cavernous sinus (MWCS) have been extensively studied and debated. However, the precise nature of this membrane remains unknown. Understanding the anatomical characteristics of the MWCS is crucial, notably in relation to pituitary adenomas, which often invade the cavernous sinus.

Introduction: Data on prior use of Tenecteplase versus Alteplase in acute stroke management by mechanical thrombectomy are controversial. Our primary objective was to make a comprehensive comparative assessment of clinical and angiographic efficacy and safety outcomes in a large prospective observational study.
Methods: We included stroke patients who were eligible for intravenous thrombolysis and endovascular thrombectomy between 2019 and 2021, from an ongoing registry in twenty comprehensive stroke centers in France.

Balance involves several sensory modalities including vision, proprioception and the vestibular system. This study aims to investigate vestibulospinal activation elicited by tone burst stimulation in various muscles and how head position influences these responses. We recorded electromyogram (EMG) responses in different muscles (sternocleidomastoid-SCM, cervical erector spinae-ES-C, lumbar erector spinae-ES-L, gastrocnemius-G, and tibialis anterior-TA) of healthy participants using tone burst stimulation applied to the vestibular system.

Objective: Eco-anxiety is a complex construct that has been created to grasp the psychological impact of the consequences of global warming. The concept needs a reliably valid questionnaire to better evaluate its impact on the risk of anxiety and depressive disorders. The Eco-Anxiety Questionnaire (EAQ-22) evaluates two dimensions: 'habitual ecological anxiety' and 'distress related to eco-anxiety'.

Study Objectives: Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a heterogeneous condition covering many clinical phenotypes in terms of the diversity of symptoms. Patient-based OSA screening questionnaires used in routine practice contain significantly varying contents that can impact the reliability and validity of the screening. We investigated to what extent common patient-based OSA screening questionnaires differ or overlap in their item content by conducting a rigorous, methodical, and quantified content overlap analysis.

Historically, the field of sleep medicine has revolved around electrophysiological tools. However, the use of these tools as a neurophysiological method of investigation seems to be underrepresented today, from both international recommendations and sleep centers, in contrast to behavioral and psychometric tools. The aim of this article is to combine a data-driven approach and neurophysiological and sleep medicine expertise to confirm or refute the hypothesis that neurophysiology has declined in favor of behavioral or self-reported dimensions in sleep medicine for the investigation of sleepiness, despite the use of electrophysiological tools.

The recreational use of nitrous oxide (N2O) is an emerging public health issue. Chronic N2O abuse may result in various clinical symptoms, encompassing neurological, psychiatric and cardiovascular outcomes. Despite the difficulties for the laboratory investigation of N2O intoxication, there is currently no guidelines in France to help both clinicians and biologists use appropriate biomarkers for the diagnosis and monitoring of patients with clinical symptoms potentially related to N2O intoxication.

Background And Purpose: The best management of patients with persistent distal occlusion after mechanical thrombectomy with or without IV thrombolysis remains unknown. We sought to evaluate the variability and agreement in decision-making for persistent distal occlusions.
Materials And Methods: A portfolio of 60 cases was sent to clinicians with varying backgrounds and experience.
