Background: In the perioperative setting, the most accurate way to continuously measure arterial blood pressure (ABP) is using an arterial catheter. Surrogate methods such as finger cuff have been developed to allow non-invasive measurements and are increasingly used, but need further evaluation. The aim of this study is to evaluate the accuracy and clinical concordance between two devices for the measurement of ABP during neuroradiological procedure.

Objective: Dyspnoea and sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) are common in children with life-limiting conditions but studies on treatment with non-invasive ventilation (NIV) or continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) are scarce. The aim of the study was to describe children treated with long-term NIV/CPAP within a paediatric palliative care programme in France.
Methods: Cross-sectional survey on children and young adults with complex medical conditions treated within the French paediatric NIV network with long-term NIV/CPAP.

Background: Retrospective studies suggest the superiority of first-line contact aspiration (CA) thrombectomy over stent-retriever (SR) in basilar artery occlusions (BAO). We aimed to investigate the impact of first-line mechanical thrombectomy per the occlusion level, considering differences in stroke etiology prevalence between proximal and distal BAO.
Methods: A retrospective, multicentric analysis of the Endovascular Treatment in Ischemic Stroke Registry (ETIS) included consecutive BAO patients treated from January 2016 to May 2022.

Background: Rescue intracranial stenting (RIS) can be used in refractory large vessel occlusion (LVO) after mechanical thrombectomy (MT). We aimed to assess the safety and efficacy of RIS versus a propensity matched sample of patients with persistent LVO.
Methods: We retrospectively analysed a multicenter retrospective pooled cohort of patients with anterior LVO (2015-2021) treated with MT, and identified patients with at least three passes and a modified Thrombolysis In Cerebral Infarction (mTICI) score of 0 to 2a.
Background: Inflammation may increase stress, while stress may promote inflammation. Most dermatological conditions are chronic and inflammatory, while some, such as cancer, naevi and tumours are non-inflammatory, but may cause stress because of the fear of malignancy and the necessity for surgical and other invasive treatments. Stress among patients with skin diseases is little explored.

Background: Recurrent sigmoid volvulus is frequent and sometimes occurs in frail patients with contraindications to surgical sigmoidectomy. Percutaneous endoscopic sigmoidopexy (PES) has recently been proposed as an alternative to elective sigmoidectomy. We aimed to describe the efficacy and safety of PES.

Objective: To evaluate the relevance of salivary gland ultrasound (SGUS) and its place in the diagnostic algorithm in patients referred with dry syndrome (DS) for a suspicion of Sjögren's syndrome (SS).
Methods: We included all patients assessed at our dedicated DS clinic from June 2015 to September 2019 for which a SGUS has been carried out. Images were read blindly and the worst salivary gland was scored according to OMERACT classification.

Unlabelled: A calcium alginate dressing (ALGINATE) and negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) are frequently used to treat wounds which heal by secondary intention. This trial compared the healing efficacy and safety of these 2 treatments.
Methods: This randomized, non-inferiority trial enrolled patients who underwent skin excision (>30 cm), which was left open to heal by secondary intention.
