The study aimed to identify risk factors and the impact of low back pain (LBP) among medical students, noting that stress and prolonged study hours may increase their vulnerability.
Out of 1800 surveyed students, 68.9% responded, with 72.1% reporting LBP; the third year of medical studies was a significant risk factor, while regular exercise and walking improved conditions.
LBP was linked to higher analgesic usage and significantly affected students' work performance, sleep quality, and personal life, highlighting the need for interventions to improve student well-being.
