Thanks to methodological advances, large-scale data collections, and longitudinal designs, psychiatric neuroimaging is better equipped than ever to identify the neurobiological underpinnings of youth mental health problems. However, the complexity of such endeavors has become increasingly evident, as the field has been confronted by limited clinical relevance, inconsistent results, and small effect sizes. Hirschsprung disease (HSCR) is a complex genetic disorder characterized by the absence of enteric nervous system (ENS) in the distal region of the intestine. Down Syndrome (DS) patients have a >50-fold higher risk of developing HSCR than the general population, suggesting that overexpression of human chromosome 21 (Hsa21) genes contribute to HSCR etiology. National prescription data for therapeutic clothing in atopic dermatitis was analysed to investigate the role of therapeutic clothing in atopic dermatitis. Therapeutic clothing is most frequently prescribed by dermatologists in a hospital setting. Most patients only receive one prescription of therapeutic clothing, suggesting a limited role for therapeutic clothing in the long-term management of atopic dermatitis.
