Arabidopsis MYB transcription factor, AtDUO1 regulates generative cell body (GC) morphogenesis from round to semi and fully elongated forms before pollen mitosis-II (PM II). It was hypothesised that DUO1 might regulate morphogenesis through any of its direct target genes or components of the DUO1-DAZ1 network. The developmental analysis of plants harbouring T-DNA insertions in some DUO1 target genes using light and fluorescence microscopy revealed abnormal GC morphogenesis only in daz1 and daz2, but gcs1, trm16, mapkkk10, mapkkk20, tet11, and tip1 all undergo normal elongation indicating that these target genes have no important roles in morphogenesis or may be redundant.

Four organotin(IV) carboxylate complexes; (CH)SnL (), CHSnL (), (CH)SnL () and (CH)SnL () are synthesized by the condensation reaction of organotin(IV) chlorides with sodium-4-chloro-2-methylphenoxyacetate (). The FT-IR spectra suggested bridging/chelating bidentate coordination of the ligand to the tin atom. Single-crystal XRD analysis authenticated the FT-IR findings for and .

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that currently affects approximately 1-2% of the global population. Genome-wide studies have identified several loci associated with ASD; however, pinpointing causal variants remains elusive. Therefore, functional studies are essential to discover potential therapeutics for ASD.

This study was designed to determine the prevalence of infections in sheep herds around tributaries in Pakistan and to evaluate the influence of potential risk factors. In total, 448 samples from 26 sheep herds were screened microscopically and then confirmed through polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplification of the 18S SSU rRNA gene. Our result revealed that, out of 448 samples, 107 were found positive by microscopy and 77 positive by PCR, with prevalence rates of 23.

The NLRP3 (NOD-, LRR- and pyrin domain-containing protein 3) inflammasome is a well-known and frequently cited regulator of caspase-1 activation. It plays a significant role in several pathophysiological processes and is a major regulator of the innate immune response. A growing amount of scientific evidences for its aberrant activation in various chronic inflammatory diseases attracts a growing interest in the development of new NLRP3 inhibitors.

Diabetes is a multifactorial global health disorder marked by unusually high plasma glucose levels, which can lead to serious consequences including diabetic neuropathy, kidney damage, retinopathy, and cardiovascular disease. One effective therapy approach for reducing hyperglycemia associated with type 2 diabetes is to target α-glucosidase, enzymes that catalyze starch breakdown in the intestine. In the current study, two new (1, 2) and nine known (3-11) compounds were isolated from the rutaceous plant Haplophyllum tuberculatum and characterized by extensive nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopic techniques and high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry.

Introduction: Temporary and extended drought stress accelerates phytohormones and reactive oxygen species (ROS) in plants, however, the fate of the plants under stress is mostly determined by the metabolic and molecular reprogramming, which can be modulated by the application of habitat-adapted fungi that triggers resistance to stress upon symbiotic association.
Methods: The present research exhibited the exploitation of the newly isolated, drought habitat-adapted fungal endophytic consortium of SAB () and CBW (), on maize under drought stress. SAB and CBW primarily hosted the root tissues of L.
