Spinal cord injury (SCI) is a neurodegenerative disorder of the central nervous system that can lead to permanent loss of sensation and voluntary movement beyond the affected area. Extensive preclinical and clinical trials have been conducted to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of stem cells for the treatment of various central nervous system diseases or disorders, including SCI. However, several challenges hinder nerve cell regeneration in the injured spinal cord, such as extensive cell loss, limited neural cell regeneration capacity, axonal disruption, and the presence of growth-inhibiting molecules, particularly astroglial scarring or glial scars at the injury site in chronic cases.

The Billefjorden area in central Spitsbergen hosts thick Lower-lowermost Upper Devonian, late-post-Caledonian collapse deposits presumably deformed during the Late Devonian Svalbardian Orogeny. These rocks are juxtaposed against Proterozoic basement rocks along the Billefjorden Fault Zone and are overlain by uppermost Devonian-early Permian deposits of the Billefjorden Trough, a N-S-trending Carboniferous rift basin bounded by the Billefjorden Fault Zone. We interpreted seismic reflection (also depth-converted), bathymetric, and exploration well data.

Cloud Computing model provides on demand delivery of seamless services to customers around the world yet single point of failures occurs in cloud model due to improper assignment of tasks to precise virtual machines which leads to increase in rate of failures which effects SLA based trust parameters (Availability, success rate, turnaround efficiency) upon which impacts trust on cloud provider. In this paper, we proposed a task scheduling algorithm which captures priorities of all tasks, virtual resources from task manager which comes onto cloud application console are fed to task scheduler which takes scheduling decisions based on hybridization of both Harris hawk optimization and ML based reinforcement algorithms to enhance the scheduling process. Task scheduling in this research performed in two phases i.

Despite the pivotal role of IFN-λs in the innate immune response, the data on its genetic polymorphism in relation to COVID-19 severity are scarce and contradictory. In the present study, we aimed to determine if the presence of the most frequent functional single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of the two most important IFN-λs coding genes, namely IFNL3 and IFNL4, alters the likelihood of SARS-CoV-2-infected patients to develop more severe form of the disease. This observational cohort study involved 178 COVID-19 patients hospitalized at the University Clinical Centre Kragujevac, Serbia.
