Background: Patient experience is increasingly used as an indicator of high quality care in addition to more traditional clinical end-points. Surveys are generally accepted as appropriate methodology to capture patient experience. No validated patient experience surveys exist specifically for adolescents and young adults (AYA) aged 13-24 years at diagnosis with cancer.

Background: Childhood cancer survivors may develop a number of endocrine complications linked to organ failure, such as hypogonadism, diabetes and growth hormone deficiency. However, increasing evidence now suggests that total body irradiation treatment, specifically, is linked with future risk of insulin resistance, hepatic steatosis and dyslipidaemia, possibly because total body irradiation affects adipocyte differentiation and impairs subcutaneous adipose tissue depot expansion during times of positive energy balance.
Case Report: We describe a 20-year-old woman who developed pancreatitis with severe hypertriglyceridaemia (serum triglycerides > 300 mmol/l) that required plasmapheresis.

Objective: To evaluate the technical and oncological efficacy of an image-guided cryoablation programme for renal tumours.
Patients And Methods: A prospective analysis of technical and radiological outcomes was undertaken after treatment of 171 consecutive tumours in 147 patients. Oncological efficacy in a subset of 125 tumours in 104 patients with >6 months' radiological follow-up and a further subset of 62 patients with solitary, biopsy-proven renal carcinoma was also analysed.
