MR imaging of pineoblastomas.

Pineoblastomas, which originate from the pineal gland, are extremely malignant tumors that grow quickly and aggressively. Because they spread so fast and the probability of longterm survival is poor, it is important to diagnose these tumors early. This article discusses magnetic resonance's role in imaging pineoblastomas.
