Background: Talquetamab (anti-G protein-coupled receptor family C group 5 member D) and teclistamab (anti-B-cell maturation antigen) are bispecific antibodies that activate T cells by targeting CD3 and that have been approved for the treatment of triple-class-exposed relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma.
Methods: We conducted a phase 1b-2 study of talquetamab plus teclistamab in patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. In phase 1, we investigated five dose levels in a dose-escalation study.

Cancer initiation and progression result from genetic and epigenetic alterations caused by interactions between environmental and endogenous factors leading to aberrant cell signalling. Colorectal cancers (CRC) are linked to abnormal activation of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway, whose key feature is the nuclear accumulation of acetylated β-catenin in colon epithelial cells. Nuclear β-catenin acts as a transcriptional co-activator, targeting genes involved in cell proliferation and invasion.

Introduction: Drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms (DRESS) syndrome is a potentially life-threatening, drug-induced adverse reaction characterized by skin eruptions, lymphadenopathy, fever, and a broad range of other bodily manifestations. The spectrum of histopathologic and clinical presentations is wide; therefore, DRESS syndrome can mimic other diseases.
Case Presentation: We present a case of a 4-year-old male patient who started chemotherapy with vincristine, cytarabine, and etoposide.
Hypertension is responsible for more than two million deaths due to cardiovascular disease annually in Latin America (LATAM), of which one million occurs before 70 years of age. Hypertension is the main risk factor for cardiovascular morbidity and mortality, affecting between 20 and 40% of LATAM adults. Since the publication of the 2017 LASH hypertension guidelines, reports from different LATAM countries have confirmed the burden of hypertension on cardiovascular disease events and mortality in the region.

Burn patients often face elevated pain, anxiety, and depression levels. Music therapy adds to integrative care in burn patients, but research including electrophysiological measures is limited. This study reports electrophysiological signals analysis during Music-Assisted Relaxation (MAR) with burn patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Primary central nervous system (CNS) lymphomas represent 1 % of all non-Hodgkin lymphomas, with diffuse large B-cell lymphomas as the prevailing subtype. Low-grade B-cell lymphomas are exceptional with only 24 marginal zone B-cell lymphomas (EMZL) and 1 follicular lymphoma (FL) previously reported so far. While their molecular profiles are studied elsewhere, data on primary intraparenchymal CNS cases remain limited.

Aims: There is lack of agreement on late gadolinium enhancement cardiac magnetic resonance (LGE-CMR) imaging processing for guiding ventricular tachycardia (VT) ablation. We aim at developing and validating a systematic processing approach on LGE-CMR images to identify VT corridors that contain critical VT isthmus sites.
Methods And Results: This is a translational study including 18 pigs with established myocardial infarction and inducible VT undergoing in vivo characterization of the anatomical and functional myocardial substrate associated with VT maintenance.

To evaluate our two non-machine learning (non-ML)-based algorithmic approaches for detecting early ischemic infarcts on brain CT images of patients with acute ischemic stroke symptoms, tailored to our local population, to be incorporated in our telestroke software. One-hundred and thirteen acute stroke patients, excluding hemorrhagic, subacute, and chronic patients, with accessible brain CT images were divided into calibration and test sets. The gold standard was determined through consensus among three neuroradiologist.

Cytomegalovirus (CMV) can cause a broad range of diseases, with severity depending on immune status, comorbidities, and age. Initial CMV infection usually occurs in childhood and is typically asymptomatic, leading to lifelong latency. In immunocompromised patients, CMV can affect multiple organs, but salivary gland infections are rare.

The increasing aging of the population combined with improvements in cancer detection and care has significantly improved the survival and quality of life of cancer patients. These benefits are hampered by the increase of cardiovascular diseases being heart failure the most frequent manifestation of cardiotoxicity and becoming the major cause of morbidity and mortality among cancer survivor. Current strategies to prevent cardiotoxicity involves different approaches such as optimal management of CV risk factors, use of statins and/or neurohormonal medications, and, in some cases, even the use of chelating agents.

Advances in immunosuppression have extended patient and graft survival rates after solid organ transplantation; however, this is not free of side effects. Balancing safety and efficacy is of paramount importance, particularly in the pediatric setting. Current literature comparing different protocols is scarce, and decisions are mostly guided by physician preference.

Posterior bone grafting represents an emerging therapeutic approach for addressing recurrent instability in the posterior shoulder, particularly when coupled with substantial glenoid bone loss. Although not as prevalent as anterior instability, recent years have witnessed the development of numerous open and arthroscopic bony reconstruction methods. A technical gold standard for posterior bone grafting remains undefined, leading to ongoing advancements in bone grafting techniques.

HMGA1 is a structural epigenetic chromatin factor that has been associated with tumor progression and drug resistance. Here, we reported the prognostic/predictive value of HMGA1 for trabectedin in advanced soft-tissue sarcoma (STS) and the effect of inhibiting HMGA1 or the mTOR downstream pathway in trabectedin activity. The prognostic/predictive value of HMGA1 expression was assessed in a cohort of 301 STS patients at mRNA (n = 133) and protein level (n = 272), by HTG EdgeSeq transcriptomics and immunohistochemistry, respectively.
