Objectives: This study aims to objectively evaluate turning gait parameters in Parkinson disease (PD) patients using 2D-RGB video-based analysis and explore their relationships with imbalance.
Methods: We prospectively enrolled PD patients for clinical assessments, balance analysis and gait with 180' turning. Spatiotemporal gait parameters during turning were derived based on video-based analysis and correlated with modified Hoehn and Yahr (mHY) stages and center of pressure (COP) oscillations.

The current study attempts to determine the impact of perioperative chemotherapy (PC) on survival in patients with CCA undergoing resection.
Methods: Patients diagnosed with CCA undergoing curative-intent resection between January 1, 2000, and December 31, 2019, in a tertiary care center were included.

Objective: Individuals with major limb amputation(s) frequently experience phantom limb sensations, which are described as vivid impressions of either parts or entire missing limb(s). Despite the high incidence and prevalence of phantom limb pain, the underlying pathophysiology of phantom limb pain remains poorly understood. The objective of this study was to evaluate a possible role of microRNAs in the pathophysiology of phantom limb pain.

With the increase in cannabis use due to policy changes and areas of decriminalization, it is important to recognize the potential impact of these substances on endocrine processes. Cannabinoids have many effects by activating the endocannabinoid system. This system plays a role in the normal functioning of nearly every organ and consists of the body's natural endocannabinoids, the cannabinoid receptors, and the enzymes and processes that regulate endocannabinoids.

Background: We performed an observational Veterans Health Administration cohort analysis to assess how risk factors affect 30-day mortality in SARS-CoV-2-infected subjects relative to those uninfected. While the risk factors for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been extensively studied, these have been seldom compared with uninfected referents.
Methods: We analyzed 341,166 White/Black male veterans tested for SARS-CoV-2 from March 1 to September 10, 2020.

As SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) overtakes the world, causing moderate to severe disease in about 15% of infected patients, COVID-19 is also found to have widespread effects throughout the body with a myriad of clinical manifestations including the endocrine system. This manuscript reviews what is known about the impact of COVID-19 on the pathophysiology and management of diabetes (both outpatient and inpatient) as well as pituitary, adrenal, thyroid, bone, and gonadal function. Findings in this area are evolving, and long-term effects of infection remain an active area of further research.
