Purpose: To explore the significance of changes in anterior chamber depth (ΔACD) and astigmatism between 4 and 8 weeks following uneventful phacoemulsification.
Patients And Methods: Anterior chamber depth (ACD, mm), autorefractometry and subjective refraction were monitored in pseudophakic eyes implanted with non-toric IOLs (group 1, SA60AT, n=36; group 2, SN60WF, n=34; group 3, ICBOO, n=16) and phakic control group (n=30, group 4a, for ACD and autorefractometry) over four weeks. Changes in subjective refractions were compared with repeatability in normal phakic eyes (n=30, group 4b).

Purpose: To determine if the changes in stereoacuity and aniseikonia, following bilateral implantation of presbyopia correcting intraocular lenses could be predicted from preoperative measurements of higher order aberrations (HOAs), axial lengths (AL), refractive errors (RE) and corrected visual acuities (CVAs).
Patients And Methods: Stereoacuity (Randot tests, @6m & 40cm, in steps of 20 arcsecs") vertical and horizontal aniseikonia (Awaya test @6m, in steps of 1%) with best correction and HOAs (Shack-Hartmann aberrometer) were measured before, 3 and 6 months after uncomplicated bilateral phacoemulsification. Twenty patients (I) underwent a mix-and-match procedure (Tecnis MF, ZKB00 in one eye and ZLB00 in the other), 17 (II) were implanted with a trifocal (AT LISA 839 triMP) and 18 (III) with a one-piece diffractive (Synergy OU) intraocular lens.

Introduction: To evaluate and compare the clinical outcomes of two toric presbyopia-correcting intraocular lenses (IOLs).
Methods: Non-randomized prospective comparative study including 86 eyes of 51 patients (age 43-83 years) that underwent cataract surgery with implantation of one of the following two IOLs: TECNIS Toric Synergy (Johnson & Johnson Vision) (Synergy group) or AT LISA tri toric 939MP (Carl Zeiss Meditec) (ATLISA group). Visual and refractive outcomes were evaluated during a 6-month follow-up.

Alport syndrome is a rare basement membrane disorder that may include ocular manifestations: dot-and-fleck retinopathy, anterior lenticonus, posterior polymorphous corneal dystrophy, or temporal macular thinning. It is primarily an X-linked inheritance condition (85%). This case report describes a 51-year-old male patient with Alport syndrome who was diagnosed due to ocular manifestations that were subsequently linked with a history of renal failure and bilateral sensorineural hearing loss.

Purpose: To compare and evaluate improvement in corrected distant visual acuity (CDVA) between myopia and hyperopia after laser keratomileusis (LASIK) in adult patients with anisometropic amblyopia.
Materials And Methods: This prospective clinical study included 103 amblyopic eyes (103 patients), which underwent LASIK correction of refractive error from January 2013 to January 2018. Uncorrected distance visual acuity (UDVA), CDVA, spherical equivalent (SE), postoperative astigmatism, and intraocular pressure were evaluated at time points of 1, 6, and 12 months.

Introduction: The WaveLight Allegretto Eye-Q is a flying-spot excimer laser, with a pulse repetition rate of 400Hz, with two galvanometric scanners for positioning laser pulses. The system has an infrared high speed camera operating at 400Hz to track the patient's eye movements that either compensates for changes in eye position or interrupts the treatment if the eye moves outside a preset predetermined range.
Aim: The purpose of this study was to investigate WaveLight Allegretto Eye-Q 400Hz laser delivery platform aimed to correct astigmatism by subjecting the pre and postoperative astigmatic values to vector analysis.

Aim: The aim of this case report was to report the clinical and genetic characteristics of choroideremia patient and a family member carrier.
Case Report: A comprehensive ophthalmologic examination, BCVA (best corrected visual acuity), fundus examination and photography, optical coherence tomography (OCT), OCT-angiography (OCTA), perimetry was conducted in choroideremia patient and a family member carrier. Clinical findings of choroidermia patient presented as significant atrophy of the choroid and retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) with the exception of a portion of preserved tissue in the macula.
