Prcis: There is evidence that cataract surgery can reduce intraocular pressure in patients with primary open angle, normal tension, or exfoliative glaucoma. The complete effect of phacoemulsification is masked by topical intraocular pressure-lowering medications.
Purpose: To assess the impact of phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation on intraocular pressure (IOP) level in individuals with primary open angle glaucoma (POAG), exfoliative glaucoma (XFG), exfoliation syndrome (XFS), normal tension glaucoma (NTG), ocular hypertension (OH), or healthy controls 12 months after the surgery.

Introduction: This study is a case of solitary clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) eyelid metastasis in a 66-year-old man as the first sign of a primary tumor. ccRCC usually spreads to the lungs, mediastinum, bones, liver, and brain, while ocular metastases are rare.
Case Presentation: Solitary metastasis presented as a solid mass in the central third of the upper eyelid, which has been growing for 3 weeks.

The availability of big data can transform the studies in biomedical research to generate greater scientific insights if expert labeling is available to facilitate supervised learning. However, data annotation can be labor-intensive and cost-prohibitive if pixel-level precision is required. Weakly supervised semantic segmentation (WSSS) with image-level labeling has emerged as a promising solution in medical imaging.

Purpose: We present two cases of fungal keratitis following amniotic membrane transplantation, including and keratitis.
Observations: A 76-year-old female with a history of anterior basement membrane dystrophy referred for reduced vision and left eye pain ten days following AMT at an outside facility. Despite topical management, the patient continued to worsen clinically, with a recalcitrant course of Fusarium keratitis requiring conjunctival flap, cryotherapy, and intracameral and intrastromal injection.

Introduction: Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are commonly employed perioperatively to reduce intraoperative prostaglandin release, diminishing pain, preventing miosis, modulating postoperative inflammation, and reducing the incidence of cystoid macular edema (CME).
Case Report: A 70-year-old female patient without previous history of ocular or systemic disease was urgently referred to our hospital because of a sudden corneal perforation concerning her left eye (OS). The patient had instilled bromfenac eye drops and antiseptic eye drops twice and four times daily, respectively, for 2 days only, in preparation of scheduled cataract surgery.

Purpose: To describe a previously unreported method for optimizing early intraocular pressure-lowering in non-valved aqueous shunt surgery, and to report pilot results from a case series.
Observations: We report pilot results of 30 eyes that underwent Baerveldt-350 implantation with adjunctive goniotomy, in addition to 3 needle-puncture fenestrations, to enhance intraocular pressure lowering and facilitate higher steroid dosing before spontaneous ligature dissolution.
Conclusions And Importance: In patients with open-angle glaucoma, goniotomy is a safe and effective procedure when performed in conjunction with non-valved glaucoma tube shunt implantation.
