Objective Our aim in this study is to assess the prevalence of abuse in elders with psychiatric illness and its association with various sociodemographic variables. Fracture of the capitellum is a rare injury, accounting for about 1% of the fractures around the elbow. We report the case of a young adult with elbow pain and swelling presenting to us three weeks after the injury. Radiographs suggested a comminuted fracture of the capitellum extending medially to the trochlea.

Trends in patient profile, clinical presentation, diagnosis, management options and outcome of abnormally invasive placenta (AIP) were retrospectively evaluated at a tertiary care centre from 2001 to 2010. Allan-Herndon-Dudley Syndrome (AHDS) is a rare X-linked disorder caused by mutation in the gene encoding the monocarboxylate transporter-8. Abnormal transport function is reflected by elevated free T3 and decreased free T4 levels along with clinical features characterized by neurological abnormalities including global developmental delay, central hypotonia, rotatory nystagmus, impaired hearing, spasticity and contractures of joints. We report a child with classical clinical features along with confirmatory deranged thyroid levels in blood.
