: Arthroplasty is gaining more and more popularity in the treatment of osteoarthritis (OA) of the metatarsophalangeal I joint (MTP1). The aim of our study was to evaluate the early and long-term objective clinical and radiographic results, as well as the subjective results, of MTP1 arthroplasty in comparison to MTP1 arthrodesis among patients with OA and a valgus deformity of their MTP 1 joint. : Patients with OA MTP1 were examined before surgery and in the 5-year period after surgery.

Infective endocarditis (IE) is an inflammatory process caused by the implantation of bacteria on the heart valves or wall insertion. Bacteria leading to IE may be caused by oral procedures, such as tooth extractions, periodontal treatments, root canal treatment, scaling and tooth implantation. Antibiotic prophylaxis should only be used in accordance with the recommendations in the high-risk group of IEs, by providing the appropriate antibiotic 30-60 min.

Introduction: Several studies have suggested that anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR) without wound drainage has no impact on long-term follow-up.

Aim: To investigate a prospective patient series as measured by the patient-administered disease-specific questionnaire Knee injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score (KOOS).

Material And Methods: The study included 101 consecutive patients (71 men and 30 women) with a mean age of 30 years (SD 10, range: 15-62 years), who had undergone primary single incision arthroscopic bone-patellar tendon-bone autograft (BPTB) ACLR without wound drainage.
