The influence of playing formations and team ranking on the physical performance of professional soccer players is an open question that needs to be explored. The present study aimed to investigate the impact of these factors on the physical exertion of Serie A soccer players. We analyzed match data from 375 players, categorizing teams based on their final ranking and comparing performance across different playing formations.

Background: Social media has revolutionized the way healthcare professionals communicate with the public, particularly in Pediatrics. With over 5 billion users globally, platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok have become increasingly popular even among caregivers in recent years. These channels offer unique opportunities to improve public health education, allowing pediatricians to reach a wide audience with evidence-based content.

Previous physical activity interventions for children (5-12yrs) have aimed to change determinants associated with self-report physical activity behaviour (PAB) and/or sedentary behaviour (SB), however, the associations between these determinants and PAB/SB in different settings are uncertain. The present study aimed to identify modifiable determinants targeted in previous PAB/SB interventions for children. Intervention effects on the determinants and their associations with self-report PAB/SB were assessed across settings.

High-intensity interval training (HIIT) is one of the most debated methods involving several parameters that could be modulated, but the long-term adaptations it induces are still unclear. This investigation aimed to evaluate the efficacy of running and whole-body exercises with high-intensity (>80% heart rate) short intervals (30 s) in body composition and physical performance and compare the effects between groups with active (AR) or passive recovery (PR), both in males and females. : Eighteen trained young adults (55.

Background: Fusiform aneurysms are a distinct subgroup of intracranial aneurysms with unique characteristics and pose a treatment challenge compared to common saccular aneurysms. Traditionally, surgery was the main treatment; however, endovascular techniques are gaining favor.
Methods: We searched major databases for studies on treatment, clinical outcomes, and radiological outcomes of intracranial fusiform aneurysms published before May 31st, 2023 in order to compare surgical Vs endovascular treatment strategies.

Introduction: The Brief Index of Sexual Functioning for Women (BISF-W) is an international 4-factors tool assessing qualitative and quantitative aspects of sexual experiences in women, both in clinical and experimental settings. The present research aims at validating an Italian version of the BISF-W, to develop a BISF version for men (BISF-M) to fill the gap in the existing sexual function evaluation tools in Italy and to analyze gender and age groups differences in the BISF factors.
Methods: The research included 6,355 women, aged from 18 to 65 ( = 34.

Background: The purpose of this study was to determine the accuracy of an intraoral scanner to digitally duplicate complete dentures and analyze the effects of mesh reduction of digital files on the surface area and volume accuracy of complete dentures, in vitro.
Methods: A mandibular complete denture was scanned by a desktop scanner to create a digital STL reference file (control). Fifteen identical scans were created by using an intraoral scanner and exported as STL files (test group).

Paddlewheel complexes of bimetallic scaffolds are emerging metallic agents in the bioinorganic chemistry landscape. In the most commonly employed construct, these complexes are decorated by the carboxylate moiety, prompting their possible deployment to target either protein or nucleic acid targets. In this study, density functional investigation was performed to assess viable mechanistic routes for the substitution of one acetate ligand with one chelating purine, adenine or guanine, in diruthenium and dirhodium tetraacetate paddlewheel complexes.

Statement Of Problem: High-translucency zirconia and lithium disilicate are among the most used materials in contemporary fixed prosthodontics because of their excellent esthetic and mechanical properties. However, their different cementation techniques, physical properties, and biocompatibility profiles can influence the clinician's choice.
Purpose: The purpose of this in vitro study was to evaluate the mechanical strength and adhesive cementation techniques for zirconia and lithium disilicate materials through mechanical testing, including compressive and pull-out tests.

Background: According to the literature, about one third of patients with brain ischemic symptoms lasting <24 h, which are classified as Transient ischemic attacks (TIAs) according to the traditional "time-based" definition, show the presence of acute ischemic lesions at neuroimaging. Recent evidence has shown that the presence of acute ischemic lesions at neuroimaging may impact on the outcome of patients with transient ischemic symptoms treated with dual antiplatelet treatment (DAPT). This uncertainty is even more compelling in recent years as short-term DAPT has become the standard treatment for any non-cardioembolic TIA or minor ischemic stroke.

Background: Aldosterone is the principal mineralocorticoid hormone and the final effector of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system. This hormone is primarily synthesized by the CYP11B2 enzyme and produced by the adrenal zona glomerulosa. Through genomic and non-genomic effects, it plays an important role in cardiovascular and renal disease.

Biphalin is a bivalent μ/δ opioid receptor agonist showing a promising therapeutic profile with reduced side effects, but as a peptide is limited by poor metabolic stability and blood-brain barrier penetration. To improve these features, we developed the ligand and showed initial in vivo efficacy. To further explore the druggability of this ligand, in this report, we tested metabolic stability in human plasma, receptor engagement by 3 different routes of administration using the tail-flick test, and efficacy in 2 different pathological and chronic pain models.

Humans exposed to altitude hypoxia experience dysfunctions of the urinary system. As a non-invasive, easily manageable and informative biological sample, urine represents a relevant matrix for detecting clinical impairments of urinary system, as well as alterations of other systems and extracellular vesicles (EVs) biology during high-altitude expeditions. Nevertheless, gaps exist in the comprehensive assessment of dysfunction, molecular burden and EVs biology due to high-altitude acute exposure.
