Introduction: Grown in the worldwide population of over 50 of age individuals who remain in good health and continue to engage in sports has led to an increase of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears in this aged population. ACL reconstruction was reserved for young and active athletes, but seems to produce good outcomes also in over 50s.

Purpose: To compare the patient-reported functional scores, arthrometric outcomes, and complications of primary ACL reconstruction between older (>50 years) and younger (<50 years) patients.

Introduction: Although GLAD lesions are quite common, only sporadic case reports describe surgical techniques and clinical outcomes. Even if cartilage defects can result from various pathogenic mechanisms, the resulting defect has some similarities with GLAD, and its management can be a starting point to treat both types of lesion. Purpose: Bucket handle tears of the meniscus are common and can lead to locking, extension deficit and functional impairment. The diagnosis is determined by a combination of physical examination and imaging, but in some cases the diagnosis may be challenging since specific clinical tests are lacking. The aim of the present study was to assess the value of a new clinical test, the elective pain at the anterior aspect of the joint line (defined as the "Rising Moon sign") in the diagnosis of bucket handle tears of the medial meniscus.

Neural Correlates of Anosognosia in Alzheimer's Disease and Mild Cognitive Impairment: A Multi-Method Assessment.

Patients with Alzheimer's Disease (AD) and Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) may present anosognosia for their cognitive deficits. Three different methods have been usually used to measure anosognosia in patients with AD and MCI, but no studies have established if they share similar neuroanatomical correlates. The purpose of this study was to investigate if anosognosia scores obtained with the three most commonly used methods to assess anosognosia relate to focal atrophy in AD and MCI patients, in order to improve understanding of the neural basis of anosognosia in dementia.

Purpose: Autologous matrix-induced chondrogenesis (AMIC) is a treatment for focal full-thickness cartilage defects combining microfracturing with an exogenous I/III collagen matrix (Chondro-Gide). The aim of the present study was to determine the 7 years outcomes of patients treated with the AMIC technique for knee chondral defects larger than 2 cm. The hypothesis was that the positive short-term outcomes achieved in the previous series would not deteriorate at a 7-year follow-up.
