Venous air embolism is a rare but potentially life threatening complication of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography. Diagnosis is difficult because of the lack of specific signs or symptoms. A 62-year-old man underwent endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography for choledocholithiasis.

Performance of Sepsis-3 Definitions in a Middle Income Country Intensive Care Unit.

Background: Since they were first published in 2016, Sepsis-3 definitions have not been universally accepted. Rather, they have become a source of controversy because the clinical and laboratory parameters used had been derived mainly from patients hospitalized in Intensive Care Units (ICU) in the United States.

Brucellosis, an uncommon cause of acute acalculous cholecystitis: two new cases and concise review.

Acalculous cholecystitis etiologies while numerous, some of them are less-known such as brucellosis. In this report, we elaborate the clinical findings, investigations and management of two female patients presenting acalculous cholecystitis in whom diagnosis of acute brucellosis was retained. Both patients had fever, asthenia and abdominal tenderness.

[Comparison of two kits of anti-infliximab antibodies plasmatic measurement].

Unlabelled: Infliximab (IFX) is a chimeric monoclonal antibody which has proven its efficacy in the treatment of inflammatory diseases. However, its efficacy can be limited by the development of anti-IFX antibodies (ATI) resulting in a therapeutic failure of IFX. ATI plasmatic monitoring is then indicated to optimize IFX treatment.

How to treat hepatic pulmonary fusion: case report with review of literature.

Efficacy and safety of rituximab in systemic sclerosis: French retrospective study and literature review.

Objective: To describe safety and efficacy of rituximab in patients with systemic sclerosis.

Spontaneous right hepatic artery branch gallbladder fistula is a rare condition. Our case reported a spontaneous fistula between the right branch of the hepatic artery and the gall bladder. It constitutes a rare cause of haemobilia.
