FGF21 Signaling Exerts Anti-Fibrotic Properties During Pulmonary Fibrosis.

Rationale: Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) is a lethal disease with limited therapeutic options. FGF21, an endocrine fibroblast growth factor that acts through the FGFR1/KLB pathway, mitigates liver fibrosis.

Objectives: We hypothesized that FGF21 could exert anti-fibrotic properties in the lung.

Methods: Patients with definite mechanical CBP, according to the physician, started before the age of 45 and be lasting for more than 3months but less than 3years underwent a protocolized MRI and radiographs of sacroiliac joint (SIJ) and spine. BME and structural changes were scored, by three readers, for SIJ as well as non-inflammatory abnormalities for spine, including degenerative lesions and static disorders.

Objectives: Patient care can vary substantially by country. The objective was to explore differences in psoriatic arthritis (PsA) across countries for disease activity, impact and treatments.

Methods: A cross-sectional analysis of 13 countries from the Remission/Flare in PsA study (NCT03119805) of consecutive adult patients with definite PsA was performed.

Objective: Making a differential diagnosis of psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is not straightforward. Purpose: Nonadherence to long-term treatments is often under-recognized by physicians and there is no gold standard for its assessment. In breast cancer, nonadherence to tamoxifen therapy after surgery constitutes a major obstacle to optimal outcomes.
