Climate change affects groundwater availability and residence times, necessitating a thorough understanding of aquifer characteristics to define sustainable yields, particularly in regions where water is heavily exploited. This study focuses on the Volvic volcanic aquifer (Chaîne des Puys, France), where groundwater recharge has decreased due to climate change, raising concerns about water use sustainability. To address these challenges, this work proposes a multi-tracer approach, based on hydrogeological monitoring, including the estimation of groundwater ages, major elements chemistry and water stable isotopes to better characterise this resource decrease and more peculiarly its origin and its impact on the environment that has never been addressed.

This paper investigates how climate policy uncertainty (CPU) drives the sensitivity of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries' stock markets to oil price changes. Based on a sample of monthly observations from 2008 to 2022, it appears that CPU negatively moderates the link between lagged oil price changes and subsequent GCC stock market returns. Interestingly, the impact of CPU on the oil-stock relationship is non-linear.

Impact of structural variations and genome partitioning on bread wheat hybrid performance.

The agronomical interest of hybrid wheat has long been a matter of debate. Compared to maize where hybrids have been successfully grown for decades, the mixed results obtained in wheat have been attributed at least partially to the lack of heterotic groups. A study of the lipidome and proteome was performed on milk fat globule membranes (MFGM) originating from milk samples from high (HL) and low (LL) lipolysis groups of cows. Combined univariate and multivariate statistical analyses proposed a set of variables highly associated to contrasted samples with regard to milk lipolysis. Milk from HL group were related to 4 phosphatidylinositols, 8 phosphatidylcholines, 1 sphingomyelin and 27 proteins, among them the phosphatidylcholine/phosphatidylethanolamine ratio and ORM1 may contribute to the membrane remodeling of the MFGM.
