Given the selection of elderly patients with AML in first complete remission (CR1) the advantage of consolidation with allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) over chemotherapy is still unclear. Newly diagnosed AML patients in CR1 aged 60-75 years were registered and a donor search initiated. After one consolidation cycle, patients with a matched donor were randomized to HCT with fludarabine/low-dose total body irradiation and cyclosporine/mycophenolate mofetil immunosuppression or conventional non-HCT.

Background: The effectiveness of clinical ethics counselling in medicine in terms of satisfaction of the participants, support of ethical decision-making, perceived impact on clinical care, moral competence and quality of communication is now empirically well validated. In psychiatry, more and more institutions have structures for clinical ethics consultation as well; however, there is still a lack of evaluative accompanying research on the benefits and differential indications of the various forms and models of clinical ethics counselling in psychiatry.
Aim Of The Work: The article presents the principles and the step by step application of the principle-oriented clinical ethics consultation according to the Basel model 2.

As an internationally accepted diagnostic system, the Paris classification has achieved a global breakthrough in the standardization of diagnoses in urine cytology. Based on experience over the past few years since its first publication, the new edition of the Paris classification refines the diagnostic criteria and discusses diagnostic pitfalls. While the detection of high-grade urothelial carcinoma remains the main focus, other aspects of urine cytology, including cytology of the upper urinary tract and the associated challenges, have also been addressed.

Cryobiopsies for the differentiation of interstitial pneumopathies Abstract: Definitive diagnosis of interstitial pneumopathy is often difficult. In order to establish antifibrotic therapy, it is necessary to narrow down the aetiology and, in up to 40% of cases, obtain histological confirmation. The establishment of the endoscopic method of cryobiopsy achieves a diagnostic yield of 76-80% with significantly fewer complications compared to surgical lung biopsy.

If glaucoma damage develops despite normal intraocular pressure or if the damage progresses despite well-controlled intraocular pressure, we usually find other risk factors. One important group are the vascular factors. We should focus not only on the classical risk factors of atherosclerosis, such as arterial hypertension or dyslipidaemia, but also on dysregulation of blood flow, especially on primary vascular dysregulation (PVD).
