Background And Aim: Brain malaria, which results from infection, is responsible for substantial fatalities and health issues. These processes, including cytoadherence, rosetting, and sequestration, induce an immune response, hypoxia, brain microvascular obstruction, disruption of the blood-brain barrier, and cell death. Parasitemia level can reveal the presence of infection and its association with apoptosis-related genes.

Although positive association between fermented vegetables intake with the risk of coronary heart disease (CHD) has increased attention nowadays, the metabolite profiling and the mechanism of action are still elusive. This study designed to investigate the secondary metabolites, hypolipidemic, and anti-atherogenic effect of mixed vegetable fermentation extract (MVFE). The metabolite screening of the MVFE was assessed using the Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrophotometer (LC-MS/MS) method.

Automated credit assessment framework using ETL process and machine learning.

Innov Syst Softw Eng

December 2022

Department of Information Technology, Jadavpur University, Salt Lake Campus, Kolkata, West Bengal 700106 India.

In the current business scenario, real-time analysis of enterprise data through Business Intelligence (BI) is crucial for supporting operational activities and taking any strategic decision. The automated ETL (extraction, transformation, and load) process ensures data ingestion into the data warehouse in near real-time, and insights are generated through the BI process based on real-time data. In this paper, we have concentrated on automated credit risk assessment in the financial domain based on the machine learning approach.

Lead-Free Aurivillius Phase BiLaNbMnO: Structure, Ferroelectric, Magnetic, and Magnetodielectric Effects.

Inorg Chem

June 2022

Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Andalas, Kampus Limau Manis, Padang 25163, Indonesia.

Aurivillius phase BiLaNbMnO, derived from ferroelectric PbBiNbO by simultaneous substitution of the -site and -site cations, was synthesized using a molten-salt method. Here, we discuss the structure-property relationships in detail. X-ray and neutron diffraction show that BiLaNbMnO adopts an 2 orthorhombic crystal structure.

The Photocatalytic and Antibacterial Performance of Nitrogen-Doped TiO: Surface-Structure Dependence and Silver-Deposition Effect.

Nanomaterials (Basel)

November 2020

Department of General and Inorganic Chemistry, Center for Natural Sciences, University of Pannonia, H-8210 Veszprem, POB. 1158, Hungary.

Catalysts for visible-light-driven oxidative cleaning processes and antibacterial applications (also in the dark) were developed. In order to extend the photoactivity of titanium dioxide into the visible region, nitrogen-doped TiO catalysts with hollow and non-hollow structures were synthesized by co-precipitation (NT-A) and sol-gel (NT-U) methods, respectively. To increase their photocatalytic and antibacterial efficiencies, various amounts of silver were successfully loaded on the surfaces of these catalysts by using a facile photo-deposition technique.
