Objectives: Epilepsy is a common chronic neurological disorder in pediatrics. Depression is an often underdetected comorbidity in childhood epilepsy. This study aimed to adapt the Neurological Disorders Depression Inventory-Epilepsy for Youth (NDDI-E-Y) to the Indonesian language and population, as well as to validate the Indonesian version of NDDI-E-Y (NDDI-E-Y[ID]).

Factors associated with antibiotic resistance and survival analysis of severe pneumonia patients infected with , , and : A retrospective cohort study in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Background: Antimicrobial resistance is one of the most significant challenges to global public health and the risk factors in severe pneumonia are constantly growing. Therefore, this study aimed to identify factors associated with antimicrobial resistance and conduct survival analysis of severe pneumonia patients with single and multiple pathogens in the National Referral Hospital, Jakarta, Indonesia.

Methods: A retrospective method was used, and secondary data were collected from severe pneumonia patients admitted to the intensive care unit at Cipto Mangunkusumo National Referral Hospital, Jakarta, Indonesia, from January 2016 to December 2022.

Background: Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is an emerging cause of visual impairment and blindness and is often detected in the irreversible stage. Background: Children living with HIV (CLHIV) on prolonged antiretroviral therapy (ART) are at risk for lipid and glucose abnormalities. Prevalence and associated factors were assessed in a multicentre, Asian longitudinal paediatric cohort.

Methods: CLHIV were considered to have lipid or glucose abnormalities if they had total cholesterol ≥200 mg/dL, high-density lipoprotein (HDL) ≤35 mg/dL, low-density lipoprotein (LDL) ≥100 mg/dL, triglycerides (TG) ≥110 mg/dL, or fasting glucose >110 mg/dL.

We conducted an analytical cross-sectional study on 1,829 children aged 6 to 12 in Nabire and 1,283 children in Jakarta.

The Profile of COVID-19 in Patients with Autoimmune Disease: A Case Series.

Autoimmune diseases are known to be a risk factor for severe COVID-19 infection. This is the first case series of patients with autoimmune disease suffering from COVID-19 infection in Jakarta, Indonesia. There were 12 confirmed cases of COVID-19 infection in autoimmune patients from March 2020 until February 2021.

Bilateral Cleft Lip and Palate in Ring Chromosome 7 Syndrome: A Case Report and Review of Clinical Characteristics.

This report presents a case of ring chromosome 7 syndrome with bilateral cleft lip and palate. A four-year-old boy presented with bilateral cleft lip and palate, microcephaly, clenched toes, cafe-au-lait spots, a history of epilepsy, and severe intellectual disability. Genetic karyotyping revealed 46 XY r(7) (p22q36).

Purpose: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of umbilical cord serum eye drops for dry eyes in ocular Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS).

Patients And Methods: A pre-post test study with umbilical cord serum (UCS) eye drop for ocular SJS patient with moderate to severe dry eyes. Study was conducted at Kirana Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital from June 2020 to December 2020.

The impact of aqueous humor polymerase chain reaction and serological test results for establishing infectious uveitis diagnosis: An Indonesian experience.

Objective: To assess the clinical value of aqueous humor real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and serological antibody tests among uveitis patients in Indonesian cohort.

Methods: In this prospective cohort study, single-plex RT-PCR analysis of aqueous samples from 86 new uveitis patients was performed to detect , , cytomegalovirus, herpes simplex virus, varicella-zoster virus, Epstein-Barr virus, and rubella virus. Specific serological antibodies for suspected pathogens were also obtained.

A case of aseptic bilateral cavernous sinus thrombosis following a recent inactivated SARS-CoV-2 vaccination.

This case report aims to describe the first report of bilateral aseptic cavernous sinus thrombosis (CST) with a recent history of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) vaccination. A 50-year-old woman presented with bilateral proptosis, decreased vision, and ophthalmoplegia 16 days following CoronaVac vaccine. The visual acuity of the left eye was 20/150, while the right eye was no light perception with a hyperemic optic nerve head.
