Almost one-fifth of the people in the world experience a decrease in quality of life due to overactive bladder (OAB) syndrome. The main bothersome symptoms are urgency accompanied by urinary frequency and nocturia. This chronic, disabling condition is first managed by reducing fluid intake and pelvic floor muscle training, supplemented with antimuscarinic drugs, if necessary.

Background: Lung cancer is the second most common cancer and leading cause of cancer mortality worldwide. Recent advances in molecular testing and targeted therapy have improved survival among patients with metastatic non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). We sought to quantify and describe molecular testing among metastatic non-squamous NSCLC cases in selected Southeast Asian countries and describe first-line therapy chosen.

Corneal endothelial cells (CECs) slowly decrease in number with increasing age, which is a clinical issue as these cells have very limited regenerative ability. Therapeutic platelet biomaterials are increasingly used in regenerative medicine and cell therapy because of their safety, cost-effective manufacture, and global availability from collected platelet concentrates (PCs). Platelet extracellular vesicles (PEVs) are a complex mixture of potent bioactive vesicles rich in molecules believed to be instrumental in tissue repair and regeneration.

Given the fact that invasive pneumococcal disease (IPD) has a high clinical burden, particularly among children in developing countries, data on its occurrence and clinical profile in Indonesia is still insufficient. We presented 3 cases of IPD in children who were admitted to Dr. Sardjito General Hospital, Yogyakarta, Indonesia between 2016 and 2019.

Introduction: Limited research exists exploring the experience of living with advanced breast cancer in Indonesia. We sought to explore the narratives of women with breast cancer across the illness trajectory to understand their experiences from diagnosis to accessing and undergoing cancer treatments to inform the development of cancer care.
Methods: A nested, exploratory study adopting a qualitative approach.

Background: Compared to their appropriate-for-gestational-age (AGA) peers, small-for-gestational-age (SGA) infants are prone to growth deficits. As the first 6 months of exclusive breastfeeding is generally recommended, it is essential to understand how this intervention might impact SGA infants' growth. This study aims to assess growth of exclusively breastfed SGA term infants in the first 6 months of life.

Liver cirrhosis is the advanced stage of liver disease accounting for high morbidity and mortality rates worldwide. Liver transplantation for liver cirrhosis has several limitations, rendering stem cell transplantation as a potential therapy. Clinical trials of stem cell applications for liver cirrhosis are being established using various types of stem cells.

Human platelet lysate (HPL) is a complex mixture of potent bioactive molecules instrumental in tissue repair and regeneration. Due to their remarkable safety, cost-effective production, and availability at global level from collected platelet concentrates, HPLs can become a powerful biotherapy for various therapeutic applications, if standardized and carefully validated through pre-clinical and clinical studies. In this work, the possibility to use a tailor-made HPL as a corneal transplant alternative to treat the gradual decrease in the number of corneal endothelial cells (CECs) associated with aging, was evaluated.
