A Scoping Review of Tabletop Role-Playing Game (TTRPG) as Psychological Intervention: Potential Benefits and Future Directions.

Purpose: The present study aimed to investigate how prior research of TTRPG revealed the benefits of TTRPG as a psychological intervention and how further studies can overcome the challenges and limitations of TTRPG in those previous studies.

Methods: The study used Scoping Review to explore the potential benefits of TTRPG. Three research questions were identified (1) the extent to which empirical research has been conducted regarding TTRPG as intervention, (2) the potential of TTRPG mentioned, and (3) the suggestions for future research.

Unveiling the veil: exploring how wellbeing motivations shape anonymous and public prosocial behavior in Indonesia.

Indonesia is often regarded as a country with a strong inclination toward prosocial behavior, with both public and anonymous acts of kindness being commonplace. However, there is a notable gap in related research regarding the predictors of such behaviors. Previous studies have highlighted how individuals with diverse motives for wellbeing are inclined to either assist or hinder others.

How inter-ethnic relations are reproduced through everyday social practices: A perspective from the Javanese nasi pecel vendors in Mataraman cities.

There is growing scholarship on how ethnic groups with historical tensions recover and manage to build harmonious relationships. However, detailed accounts of the lived experiences of such relations are limited. We seek to address this gap by exploring everyday inter-ethnic relations between Javanese and Chinese Indonesians in Indonesia as exemplified in the practice of selling nasi pecel, the traditional food of Mataraman cities in East Java.

Gandasari and colleagues [1] open an important opportunity for us to consider how social scientists might contribute to preserving Indigenous cultures in Indonesia. The focus of these authors was on releasing for open use Indigenous data collected from Dayak, Malay, and Chinese communities in Sintang Regency, West Kalimantan, Indonesia. In this commentary, we respond to key issues raised by Gandasari and colleagues [1] to engage in a productive discussion regarding the broader ethical considerations and implications of publishing such Indigenous datasets in academic journals.

Purpose: The present study investigated the effect of extrinsic motivation, amotivation, the presence of and search for purpose, and their interaction effects on the perceived positive outcomes of being a peer mentor in college.

Methods: We tested a cross-sectional data using correlation design and moderation model. Participants were 232 undergraduate students who served as mentors for freshmen.

Global competition has been driving many companies globally, including in Indonesia, to develop intrapreneurship within their organizations. The current study offers the concept of star intrapreneurs to examine the intrapreneur character scale which operates at the individual level within the cultural context of Indonesia. The concept of intrapreneurship in this study consisted of two dimensions: the person and the interaction.

Measurement Invariance of Claremont Purpose Scale Across Gender Among Indonesian Youth.

The present study assesses the factor structure of the Claremont Purpose Scale (CPS)-Indonesian version among youth, the measurement invariance of the Indonesian CPS across gender, and its concurrent validity with wellbeing scales. Though several studies have investigated purpose in life among Indonesian adolescents, few have tested the psychometric properties of the scale. CPS is unique in that it measures purpose as a multidimensional construct, comprising personal meaningfulness, goal directedness, and beyond-the-self orientation.

When passions collide: Passion convergence in entrepreneurial teams.

We pivot from the predominant static focus on passion by examining passion convergence, or the dynamic pattern of increasing similarity in passion among members of a team.
