This paper addresses a non-interacting torque control strategy to decouple the d- and q-axis dynamics of a permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM). The maximum torque per ampere (MTPA) method is used to determine the reference currents for the desired torque. To realize the noninteracting control, knowledge concerning the inductances L and L of the electrical machine is necessary.

As wildlife habitats become increasingly fragmented, sharing landscapes with wildlife is becoming difficult and complex. Because stakeholders with diverging interests struggle to collaborate to manage human-wildlife interactions, new approaches are needed. Here we reflect on a novel participatory learning program we implemented with farmers in communal conservancies in the Zambezi region of Namibia.

Fault-finding diagnostics is a model-driven approach that identifies a system's malfunctioning portion. It uses residual generators to identify faults, and various methods like isolation techniques and structural analysis are used. However, diagnostic equipment doesn't measure the remaining signal-to-noise ratio.

Motivated by the EU Green Deal project as a unique setting, we present the first literature review of firm- and country-related determinants of environmental performance (EP) and environmental reporting (ER) and their financial consequences for the European capital market. Based on legitimacy and stakeholder theories, we conducted a structured literature review and examined 124 peer-reviewed empirical-quantitative (archival) studies. There were clear indications that board gender diversity, sustainability board committees, firm size, and environmentally sensitive industries are the main drivers of increased environmental outputs.

Objective: The present study aimed to systematically analyse the complete lipid profile of the in situ pellicle in comparison to saliva. For the first time, the modern sensitive methods GC-EI/MS and HPLC MS/MS were to be used for this purpose.
Design: Bovine enamel slabs were exposed to the oral cavity of 12 subjects by customized splints (3 min, 30 min or 120 min).

Lipids are of interest for the targeted modification of oral bioadhesion processes. Therefore, the sustainable effects of linseed oil on the composition and ultrastructure of the in situ pellicle were investigated. Unlike saliva, linseed oil contains linolenic acid (18:3), which served as a marker for lipid accumulation.

This structured literature review of 48 archival-based studies investigates the influence of fair value measurements on earnings quality and stresses the moderating impact of corporate governance. We focus on accounting-based earnings quality measures that have several advantages for investigating agency-related earnings management behavior compared to market-based measures (e.g.

Background: While work-related rumination increases the risk of acute stressors developing into chronic load reactions and adverse health, mental detachment has been suggested as a way to interrupt this chain. Despite the importance of mentally detaching from work during leisure time, workers seem to struggle to disengage and, instead, experience the constant mental representation of work-related stressors, regardless of their absence. Those who struggle with work-related rumination could benefit from an easy-access intervention that fosters mental detachment by promoting recreational activities.

Unlabelled: Repetitive negative thinking (RNT) has been identified as a transdiagnostic process that is involved in various forms of psychopathology, including anxiety and depression. This randomized controlled trial compared a 5-week internet and app-based gratitude intervention (intervention group; IG) with adherence-focused guidance against a wait list control group (WLG) in reducing RNT in a sample with elevated RNT.
Method: A total of 260 individuals were randomized to either the IG or the WLG.
