Established sequential deposition of multilayer two-terminal (2T) all-perovskite tandem solar cells possesses challenges for fabrication and limits the choice of materials and device architecture. In response, this work represents a lamination process based on a transparent and conductive adhesive that interconnects the wide-bandgap (WBG) perovskite top solar cell and the narrow-bandgap (NBG) perovskite bottom solar cell in a monolithic 2T all-perovskite tandem solar cell. Developing a reliable procedure for the growth of III-V nanowires (NW) on silicon (Si) substrates remains a significant challenge, as current methods rely on trial-and-error approaches with varying interpretations of critical process steps such as sample preparation, Au-Si alloy formation in the growth reactor, and nanowire alignment. Addressing these challenges is essential for enabling high-performance electronic and optoelectronic devices that combine the superior properties of III-V NW semiconductors with the well-established Si-based technology. Combining conventional scalable growth methods, such as Metalorganic Chemical Vapor Deposition (MOCVD) with in situ characterization using Environmental Transmission Electron Microscopy (ETEM-MOCVD) enables a deeper understanding of the growth dynamics, if that knowledge is transferable to the scalable processes.

When relativistic physics is lectured on, interest is focused on the behavior of mechanical and electromagnetic quantities during a reference frame change. This paper investigates the impact of varying humidity conditions on the carbonation depth in hardened cement paste using a 3-dimensional microscale kinetic Monte Carlo (kMC) approach. The kMC algorithm effectively simulates the carbonation process by capturing the interplay between CO diffusion and relative humidity at the microscale, providing insights into macro trends that align with historical models. The study reveals that the maximum carbonation depth is achieved at relative humidity levels between 55 and 65%, where the balance between water and CO diffusion is optimized.

In two studies with mathematics student teachers, we investigated how discrepancies between performance and feedback affected two important aspects of self-regulated learning-self-efficacy and self-assessment accuracy regarding mathematical content knowledge. Dye-zeolite nanomaterials are promising candidates for neurotransmitter detection, however, their sensing mechanism has remained speculative.
